I think they're all mainly archived, ehh airwaves.free.fr has... most tongue

As for the black dog mix: there are 2 mixes, one is a FACT mix (remixes by and of black dog),
which is half great half so-so (this is where people remix them).
Then there is a lovely ambient mix, if you want both get yo yankee ass online on irc at some point
and I will send them gladly smile there is also some unreleased stuff with nice info sheets and rants
about the early black dog days and releases, with funny notes about rip offs and all wink

Hey chaps hows it fairing ?

hey indeed, that must have been their old BBS smile (it was called black dog towers).
Is there any stuff they had on there available ?

@ Poke: I remember dispyz had an old episode of airwaves that he used to play almost everyday that featured a lot of what's mentioned, yet when I go to the airwaves page it's the only episode not available.

What gives?!

JESUS CHRIST!

any idea where I can find these?

Jesus Christ ? No idea, he's kinda dead wink

as for the black dog: I read it in a rinted interview,
he used to make his own little demos with the occasional
tune, as well as running a black dog BBS. Havent found anything
yet, no idea under what handle, or if it's surfaced at all.
Any leads to
where to find anything would be largely appreaciated.

The black dog used to make amiga mods.
Also check extraboy (goto80's beautiful electronica) on subnatura.
Bogdan raczynski apparently was a demoscener.
Röksopp used to make c64 stuff, nuke/spaceman now makes lounge as atjazz,
and sami liuski of bangkok impact made amiga and pc mods as illusion.
Ps dune indeed rules, there is this beautiful very short looping ft modfile
that i absolutely love. Very brothomstates style

ehh yes ?

I already answered the question wink
I indeed think vangelis is like most of those other 70's synth symfo people,
now if it would have to be greek and synth, then choose xenakis.

There ought to be an emulator of his drawing musictool online.

mmm finally gotten to listening, what a lovely EP this one is smile
How many operator FM is it ? presuming it's the sega megadrive chip, 4?
Very nice beat programming as well, and nice metallic leads and pads.
it's encouraging to hear very downtempo (almost ambient) stuff as well,
it realy works in this release ! definitely a keeper.
