fuckinaye.

labels? label it REVERSE POWERVIOLENCE as far as im concerned, hehe!

i didnt seek out labels too much at all. but really the material is the kind of stuff that i dont even know where something like this would fit. these songs are really important, and if i can make an alex mauer fan out of a person that wouldnt normally hear the music, im happy to be able to do that. some of these songs are really intense to play on instruments just like with the first blast portable, so if i can inspire people to do more chip and instrument type stuff too, thats also a plus.

Although attempted numerous times before, Pterodactyl Squad have finally done the original album justice with the definitive 8-bit interpretation of Pink Floyd's progressive rock classic. Produced as an 8-bit mirror of the original, the music on this release was created using sounds from various old games consoles including the Sega Mega Drive and Nintendo Game Boy.

if you wanna be technical about it, don preston is actually THE guy who pioneered the first modular synths in the 60's. he had one of three moogs that were available at the time, on loan from the man himself. not tryin to get all indignant on the thread or shit on it or nothin, but he did a lot more of note with the mothers of invention alone then he gets credit for.
