I have been depressed for the past 8 years now, gradually become worse over time. Seems like many "creative" ppl suffer from this for many reasons. I am currently on antidepressants, which made me feel like shit the first month or so, but now I feel a lot better. Aside from that, I also would like to vouche for regular excercise, routine and a healthy diet. It is helping me quite a lot. Self acceptance is very important too imo. You are you and that is perfectly fine (input other generic advice). I also tend to spend waaaay too much time overthinking stuff, never helped anyone as far as I know hmm

Also, lol at the picture there BeatScribe. Funny and true XD

Hope you get better Krubbz and that this thread might help you somehow!

Cheers

By trail and error. If you give it enough time you might become happy with what you produce in the future. Practice makes perfect, and in my experience it's the only way to go. Cheers

That's pretty neat! Feta beats helt klart big_smile

Fantastic music Vince! "By the Way" is truly amazing heart

I must agree with boomlinde regarding Alpine's comment! Fakebit feels very negative as a description indeed but as mentioned above, you missed the point. This a discussion that could go on endlessly and be argued from both sides. I guess that is supposed to be handled in it's own thread.

"Coda" is easily one of my favourite fakebit/chiptune producers (look him up at Ubiktune, "Tracer"). He does purist stuff as well.

I do fakebit myself but I don't have very much material uploaded...yet. Idk if you would consider it good but since that is in the eyes of the beholder etc. You can check it out over at my "soundcloud" if you are interested. End of plug smile

Hmm, you might like some of these if you have not already heard them.

µCollective and The Weekly Chart Collection proudly presents this 11 track, 34 minute long compilation album of pure goodness.

The album consists of the top charting musicians of µCollective and it's the first of it's kind. The idea is to release 2 compilation albums per year and by doing so spreading and archiving some music history. The albums will include all the #1 placers in the weekly chart system (if they want to). Every charter is allowed to have 1 track per album and only originals are accepted.

All donations for this album will go towards developing uCollective.org as a site.

You can listen to and download the album HERE

Enjoy the music!

Super cool and awesome EP man! Astral and Dimensions are my favourite tracks. I really like the new approach on the 3 first tracks compared to Dimensions which reminds me a lot of "of Atoms and Stardust" ( not in a bad way at all I might add ). Maybe it's just me feeling that way, idk, haha smile Well done anyhow mate, really enjoyed that! Cheers

Yes! Snake Mans theme and the Title theme are some of my absolute favourite MM tracks. Great take on the OST!
