well, imo auxcide has pretty much already won this, but it's worth a shot
Psh. Hell no. But I'll be extra motivated because I've recently run into money problems.

Are you thinking actual boss sounding music (think final fantasy dramatic battle) or more like adventuring travelling dungeon music?
I can understand the confusion, because it's a little bit of a gimmick. To be clear, Boss Monster is NOT a video game. It's a card game meant to pay homage to old side-scrolling 8-bit games. The music on the sound track would be played as background music while players play the game. Our goal is to have some sound to complete the old gaming feel of Boss Monster.
Oh thanks for clearing that up. Makes sense now.
@Sassy, maybe for a big wider known artist, but for an entry level unknown, it seems fine to me. And I can't be choosy.
I'm poor and broke so this sounds interesting. Though I'm still a little confused on what part of the game the music is to be associated with.
I like the part where he screams 'oh' as he gets stabbed in the back, right before the solo.
There are 28 (256) possible values for 8 bits. (x4)
Hahahahaha
I'm trying so hard to put this over a song.
Whatever happened to those monthly webshows? When I can finally tune in, they're gone.
*ignores george and 4mat*
Nice cover man. However, considering that it's two gameboys, I'm unimpressed by the synthesis
Finally! I think that too. Like I said, this was done when I first started making 2xLSDJ and chipmusic in general. I like the song, but if I had done it today there would be some things I'd do differently. (I dunno if you've heard my newest unreleased stuff but it's got a lot more tricks I think you'd appreciate)
Jeez what a fucking show! Chiptunes have never been new to me. I've always listened to videogame music as my primary music genre.
Decktonic is too kind.
Edit: really enjoyed the last song when the lead came in.
For Saskrotch. Always .
Just because.
This is so awesome to see. Wish I could play it though.
I 2nd.
Keep fucking around with it. I can't tell you how many hours I've put into developing new wave channel instruments
Seriously. Wavchan fuckery is very addicting. I've definitely started pushing it further recently. Just take time out to go deep in it.
Oh. And use F commands.
I would call this a *cover* of Benny Benassi - Cinema (Skrillex Remix)
But who cares about semantics? This is very well done. You definitely know what you are doing with LSDJ. I wouldn't mind hearing this live.
I listen to this now and I'm surprised at how well it stacks up against my newer stuff. I made this when I first started doing 2xLSDJ, which wasn't long after I started learning LSDJ in general without any technical understanding.
Glad you like it.
