I've seen Midiboys go for ridiculous amounts, so I don't think your price is too unreasonable, if at all. I really love the way you did that MidiBoy, very innovative in my opinion. Keep 'em coming!

I am not sure.. i think they may with the new software ubcon? It does work on windows and pc. Im in austin too, pm me and you can come check them out.

Will do smile

Damn. That's my bad, I didn't realize there was an input line. I didn't have a PowerPak to test it... PM me and we'll work this out.

Are the writers compatible with Mac's? I'm really looking for the cheapest, most basic carts I can find, since they're just going out as gifts. But a cart writer would be nice, it would save a lot of time and hassle in the future.

Green/Red DMG is being moved to eBay.

BUUUMMMP.

I'd love to compare notes, and I wanna see what you've got in the works!
Thank you for the kind words, it was a pleasure meeting you too, and I look forward to collaborating on some projects soon!

Wow, I can't believe I didn't see this thread sooner haha. I'm really diggin' these designs, I've been trying to figure out how to build a smaller ArduinoBoy for my current DMG project. Alley Beach, I really like your design and I ordered some ATmega328p chips and smd octocouplers so I'm going to try to build something similar to your design and I'd also like to try to build ApeShit's design. I ordered enough parts to make 3 ArduinoBoys and I'll post my progress on here.

What's the point of the internal MMC? I must be missing something important here...

'nuff said.

The MMC hasn't been done before as far as I know and it would be helpful for internally storing game saves.
GoingHam, do you mean solder the pins from the DMG pcb where the connector was removed, to the bottom cart pins on the mmc, and then the pins for the removed MMC cart connector going to the cart conn. in the T-Pak? And then remove the switch and relocate it? If so, that's what I was planning smile
I really don't have the time/funds to have a custom pcb manufactured, but I've been drawing out basic ArduinoBoy schematics based off of Trash80's original designs, and I'm just starting some new blueprints. I'll get those new blueprints finished and put 'em up to see what you guys think.
Thanks to everyone for all the encouraging words and helpful advice! It is very appreciated smile

Hey Apeshit, Alley Beach, and any other experienced modders, do you guys have any suggestions for reconstructing the ArduinoBoy? I can't afford to buy another kit so I'll be recycling most of the parts from the MEOW kit, mainly the IC's, the diode, caps, and some resistors if I don't have spares. I'm about to start the rough draft blueprints, I'll get 'em up here asap.

Thank you so much Alley Beach! I really appreciate the wire suggestion. I see what you mean concerning the LTC and arduinoboy, I feel like it wouldn't do anything really if the midi clock was from an external source, but if the GB was set to master I think the midi signals may glitch. But like you said I'll just have to test it and find out smile

Those are very good points, the last internal ArduinoBoy I did was built from scratch and I think that may be the best way to go with this one. The MMC is a major part of this project, so I feel I've got to find a way to get it in. I'll get to work on some new blueprints for that whole process. Thanks for the tips, Apeshit.

The DMG link port has already been installed, but I'm adding a Ps/2 jack tomorrow and possibly some other mods if they aren't too complicated and/or time consuming.

Hey ApeShit, here's a better pic of the MMC pcb, if you could give me any pointers that would great!
