I've only got 2 finished modded DMG's at the moment, a yellow P-I-L and a clear P-I-L. I use them as my personal GameBoys, but I could possibly let my clear DMG go. It has a green LEDx3 backlight, green case LED's, Green buttons, 1/8", 1/4", and RCA Prosound jacks, new Chipmusic in Stereo screen cover, and LTC Clock Control w/ toggle switch. That one may be a bit pricey, but if you really want it, pm me and we'll make it happen.  I can provide pics if needed.

The modded NES, I'm not sure if I should try to sell it on eBay so I decided to see if anyone here is interested first.

yep!  trying to catch up on some out of stock stuff this week

Awesome, I'll go ahead and order one of your kits to save the hassle of buying the caps individually.

I have some questions about some minor things that hopefully you guys could help with,
-I'd like some suggestions for cleaning supplies for the DMG case, I want it to look as nice as possible. The case also a few spots where dabs super glue were applied, mostly for mounting SMD LED's, but I decided to remove those LED's and now I'm trying to remove the fogged up parts of the shell. I have a Dremel with buffing tips, but should I use that or some other cleaning method?
-I feel like this is a dumb question, but could one of the more experienced modders give me the name and/or gauge of wire that they prefer to use? I typically use the same wire for all of my mods, just a 15 foot, 16 stranded wire ribbon cable from the electronics store, never really put much thought into that because those wires always worked well for me in the past so there wasn't a need for any other wire. The wires I have attached already will work fine, but there's still quite a few wires to add and I'm going to need something different.
-On the Prosound jacks, which wiring method would work best? I've used 2 different methods when modding. I either make a small pcb attached to the prosound solder points that all the audio jacks are also attached to, or I have the prosound solder points going to the 1/4", and the 1/4" also leads to the 1/8" jack, and the 1/8" then leads up to the RCA's. I've never had problems with either of those methods, but would one work better than the other?
-I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to get the Mega Memory Card in there, so I was thinking I would just build a custom PCB with the Mega Memory Card components (without the cart connector of course), instead of modifying the original PCB. I don't have any experience with removing CPU's from PCB's but I've read that they can be removed with a heat gun, has anyone tried that? I thought after I removed those, I would used a conductive ink pen to draw the traces on the custom pcb, and then cut it to fit in the DMG. Would that be more trouble than it's worth?
-I haven't ever made a DMG with an internal ArduinoBoy that also had the LTC Clock Control Mod, and I'm wondering if I need to have a cutoff for the LTC's power whenever the AB is powered on? If you had both on at the same time, wouldn't the DMG and/or LSDJ crash?

I really appreciate all the help everyone has provided me with, and thanks in advance for the future assistance!

Ah, that's good to know, thanks! Are you going to restock the cap kits in your store soon?

Thanks for all the help everyone! I think I will just mount the case extension with screws. I'm going to go to the hardware store tomorrow and explore my options. As for the crashing, I'm not really sure what the problem is. I'm waiting for a package to arrive tomorrow and it has a battery for my multimeter, I've been waiting to thoroughly test the back pcb until I had my multimeter working properly. The pcb only has the cart connector, power board, a power toggle switch, and a capacitor that I had to move attached to it at the moment, but I do have lengthy wires already attached to the points on the pcb where the mods will be connected. I've only powered the back pcb on once, and the backlight lit up, but no display and no sound from the speaker. I've run into this problem before, and always somehow managed to fix it, but once I get the multimeter working I'll be able to give a better description of the problem if I can't locate it myself. I have a question about capacitors, how long do they normally last? Should I just go ahead and replace all of the old ones?

Sounds fun, I'll be there.

Sorry I dropped out early, but way to go everyone! I finally downloaded the album yesterday and I'm really diggin' it. I'm glad that you guys pulled it off!

Well after taking a refreshing break from this project, I'm ready to start working again. I'm going to upload some pics later. Is there anyone that could give me some suggestions for preventing the DMG from crashing? I also need suggestions for attaching N64 Transfer Pak case extension, I used some 2 part hobbyist epoxy on the first try, and it held pretty well for a while but eventually it gave out.

Hmm would that just be attaching the LED's to the glasses in a specific symmetrical order, then hooked up to an Arduino programmed with a LED pattern generator (could probably find the exact one from the video somewhere), and a simple mode/pattern momentary push button? And of course a battery compartment haha. If so, I could possibly give it a try. I would have to wait until I finish my current projects, but once those are out of the way I'd be happy to help if you're still looking.

Hey Budusy12, GoingHam, and all others interested in buying things from this thread, I just got back home so I'll have everything updated sometime tomorrow. I'll probably be adding a few new things as well.

For Datapop? Who knows, man.

Shit, well I guess all I can do is hope that DataPop returns in the future haha. But for those of you who did attend, how was it???? I saw some pics that a friend took and it looked pretty epic!

Sorry @Budusy12 for not getting back to you sooner, all of my business stuff is on hold at the moment because I've been out of town since Saturday. I'll be home in the next few days and once back I'll update this thread. I think all of my unused pcb's are on hold, but I'll test everything I have and let you know if I have any left.

Dammit. I'm out of town tonight and won't be able to attend... eh, I guess there's always next time.

New DMG added.
