has anyone seen chrome/silver Dmg buttons around?

yep! tried a new screen and everything works. sorry about all the posts, guess i just needed to do some troubleshooting

i think that is just grain from the iphone quality picture.. should i just try a new screen?

the backlight says ASM VC series, i even tried it with a few different resistors where they would normally go and im still having the same problem

is using these points incorrect for my kit?

the kit i got said that the resistor was built in...maybe i just need to connect to different points

ive installed the backlight properly and it lights up when i power the system on, but the problem is it is too bright!! I cant see anything unless i tilt the screen parallel to my line of vision. halp

Olympia is a lot farther away from Seattle, but honestly one of my favorite places in this country. Best house parties happen in oly #seattleburn.

Olympia definitely has love for the chip scene, there just isn't a thriving community for it here like there is in Seattle. Granted Olympia is a smaller town. There are some analog gear heads, synth people, tinkerers, electricians and beat makers (also bands. weirdos, etc.) in Olympia more so than there are strict CHIPTUNE artists. But whoever was mentioning earlier, people do really appreciate the chip SOUND around here, and how it can be incorporated into other things. which i find respectable. As an Oly correspondent for the PNW chipscene i say BIGUPS

MOVE TO THE PNW SO I CAN BECOME AN ELECTRICIAN APPRENTICE AND BE A MOD MONKEY!

I don't have a multimeter and I don't really know if I would have the ability to fix it. It's an awesome keyboard though, with midi capability. If anyone wants to buy it as is I would be willing to make a good deal?

SO I have this awesome casio that I had been using for a while. I decided to open it up and try to find a few bend points. In the process I must have connected something that fried some part of the circuit. It wont turn on with the batteries in it (although I haven't tried using a 9v adapter) and there is nothing visibly broken about it. Has anyone else had problems like this where you connect the wrong points and your keyboard or toy just dies? I let it rest for a few days but it still wont turn on.
