I've recently started using LGPT on the PSP and I've looked around but I have a few questions about LGPT that I can't find on the net.

Edit: First two questions solved, links to the new build are now working and 1.1h had the effects I needed.

First of all, on the LGPT wiki it shows builds going up to 1.1d but all I can find is 1.1a, and the unstable builds are all dead links.

Secondly, I want to do vibrato effects which the piggy doesn't have so I thought that I could use the PFIN (pitch fine-tune) that the manual mentions effect to get a similar effect but there seems to be no such effect in 1.1a.  I'm also missing the DLAY and IRTG (which seems to exist only in 1.1d, which I can't find).  Are these effects only for the other platforms?  I also have one effect, the GROV effect that isn't mentioned in the wiki.

Thirdly, is there no 'keyjazz' type setting?  I find it minorly awkward that I can't hear a sound as I lay it down.

Fourthly, When highlighting a group of notes, is there no way of increasing or decreasing values as you can do in LSDJ?  If not, is there any other way of adjusting the note values all at once?  For example, if I want to bump a bunch of notes up by a semi-tone or by an octave, do I have to do it one by one?

Fifthly, by default the piggy seems to use slim cloning, is there any deep clone setting I can add the the config.xml?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Cheers!

(P.S:  I'll have more questions soon!)

Just modify the lyrics to be about your love for all people of something and you'd win in a second.

I will send you logo in vector and BMP soon...

+ Can someone make custom sample bank utility / patch tool for WINDOWS????

If I do decide to work on this (and it wouldn't be for a couple months) I can assure you it will not be called Triplum Tracker.

I've added a Fatass wishlist type thread here, please add suggestions!

After looking over the source for Fatass tracker, I've somehow got it into my head that I could probably add a few needed features.  There's no promise in this, but if I was going to do an updated or modified version of Fatass, what features, changes, etc would you like to see?

However, if you have LSDJ on one bank and Muddy GB (a music program that doesn't have save functions) that would work fine.

The easiest way to think of tables is a way of animating your various parameters.  Want the volume to modulate?  Want to add a complex arpeggio?

Look at the instrument parameters that you already know about and then imagine how you would make them interesting over time.  Adding a G (groove) setting will allow you to adjust the speed that the table plays at.  So if you add a G01 (since 00 is the default table and you probably don't want to change that) and set your groove as just "4" then you'll get a table that plays much slower than the default tables play at.

the filters suck, they are steppy as hell to my ear.  not a fan of the delays as well.

where they excel is as a live looper when midi sync'd.

almost back on topic with serious question: I owned a KP3 for about 3 days and bought it to be a live looper, however it NEVER stayed in time with midi sync, it seemed to add like 1ms on at the end of each loop. The effects/delay/etc were rock solid with the clock, but the loops were always off after about a minute. I was really annoyed and sent it back. Have they fixed that issue?

I've never experienced that on my unit, which has the latest firmware update.  Maybe it was fixed through an update?

That was a totally killer show, I can't wait for the next one or any other show played in the area. I'm hitting up gamercamp and checking out Anamanaguchi and Starscream! I saw Anamanaguchi at PAX east and it was great. I also saw you O2Star in the MAGfest room (I'm in your youtiube vid for like half a sec) great set.

I was only at Nuit Blanche for J. Arthur Keenes and Deadbeatblast, so I'm sad I missed the rest of it. Looking for any Toronto or KW shows ( I live in Waterloo).

I'm doing a talk at Gamercamp!  As a result I got a free pass to the 1up concert with Anamanaguchi and Starscream!

Seeing as how he wants an .nsf I don't see why you would need to record.

Hi guys. I'm the guy that taught the Gameboy class at Wichita State University. Glad you think the class was cool. I had a blast teaching it. Unfortunately WSU didn't ask me to teach the class again so we weren't able to continue it after 2008.

@Jefftheworld: I'm curious what the silly mistake we made was that you refer to. Is it that we have full names of people who checked out the equipment? That doesn't seem like information that people can use for nefarious reasons.

Also thought I'd mention that the class final projects are on their assignments blog. The blog formatting got a little messed up on a botched Wordpress upgrade, but it is all still readable.

Final projects:

You can browse the other categories on the left-hand-side to see their other assignment submissions.

And we have a video of the final projects as well:

I'm probably just being paranoid, maybe I've just been reading too much 2600.  I just feel uneasy when unnecessary personal info is available online.  Especially because most of the those people probably don't realize their names are still publicly available there.

However, the course is an awesome thing to do. Welcome to the chipmusic scene.  Wanna be a hero here?  Program and release a nice music program!  If you need any ideas, we'd be able to give you a lot to think about.

The one funtional difference I've found is that the RCA connections fit tighter and so are less likely to come loose during a performance, if you move around a lot.  Also, being on the top of the Game Boy, they get in the way less if you have big hands like me.

I'd like to point out that the source code is available and is well documented and commented.  Just wondering what kind of things people would want to see in an updated version?

Are you gonna fork it and create your own version?  What would you call it?

Jeffthetracker?

Tracktheworld?

Fat Tracker 2.
