Well the parts with the snare on the downbeats are alternating between 7/4 and two bars of 4/4 (I want to say 8/4 but that's just weird, lol. Simpler to say, though...)

As for the weird changes... My counting skills are not advanced enough and I'm not confident enough in my ability to keep steady internal time without being affected by external changes to really say what's going on. I tried tapping through the "steady" section and the confusing section and it seemed to stay lined up when the steady section comes back in again.

Edit: That doesn't really help much but it's thread activity at least...

All this time I was thinking dub was a style of slower reggae that involved dubbing, haha. I thought the delay was using dubbing techniques or something, idk. But anyway, thanks. I at least knew it was reggae-like. lol. Somebody released a reggaedubhop chip thing in 2012, iirc.

chip dub means that a sample of something is being dubbed in the chip, right? Can it be dub with no dubbing? Hmmmm....

Last year i did a short gameboy reggae loop thing. It's on my profile here. "Get Aboard That Train". I also have the odd "Beese" on ucollective.org.

I really liked qqq's "Wall You Need Is Love" but i guess that's a bit old now.
