Maybe this is unprofessional, but whenever I burn a cd of an album I've downloaded and there is extra space on the disc I usually throw in a random compilation of other songs that I like (or if there is a song I don't like from the original album I'll replace it with something else, heehee). So I was thinking maybe you could throw in some songs from your other releases or singles that have been well-received in general as bonus tracks or something if you have the extra space, I dunno... It seems a bit unprofessional, but just throwing it out there.

This tour is totally rad and all, but I notice it doesn't include Northern Alabama or Nashville. Do a Danimal Cannon Totally Grits Southern Tour!

I'd love for "How To Heal A Broken Heart" to have a physical release although I probably would not end up ordering it... >_>

But I think it is worthy of it. Equal parts delicate, strong, sensitive, confronting, flowers and football, it's my favorite of your releases by far. heart Great summer cruising music heart

Not saying I agree with what follows, but I think that is a much more accurate way to put it.

Searching "chipmusic" has worked for a while. I don't know if groups were created because they don't really behave as I would like.

You would think so, but just for me, it's a mixed bag. I have found two interesting groups, "chipmusic" and "8-bit/Chiptune dumphole."

That's not really any different from the chipmusic.org music section is it? It'd just end up being the same thing.

Digital Darwin you are joking right? That's been the most useless advice given so far in regards to actual antivirus measures goes. :\ (It can't really hurt to download windows defender anyway, though). edit: It's good advice, but not really the best in directly answering your question.

Anyway, AVG Free and Avast are two other options that you have. I can't vouch for their effectiveness except to say that they have detected and removed viruses for me in the past. Malwarebytes is lovely.

STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE FROM ANYTHING THAT SOUNDS TOO CONVENIENT LIKE "ANTIVIRUS 360" OR "ANTIVIRUS ONE" IT IS MALWARE!

BTW, if you want to keep your computer healthy, use common sense and practice safe surfingj, don't share needles and say no to Limewire. wink

Edit: Also turn off "hide known filetype extensions" in your windows explorer settings :3

The general public will probably always assume that you're just pressing play no matter what you do. Even if you play guitar and run around, people are going to ask stuff like "so what video games do you get your samples from?"

I almost feel like giving a preamble speech before I play about what LSDJ is and how I make music, but that'd be kind of silly.

Necrothread whatever, it's a perennial chipmusic issue

Whenever my friends and I go chipbusking, we put out a big, straightforward, brightly coloured sign AND we incrementally remind the crowds that it's live, not samples, etc. Sounds like overkill. Unfortunately isn't.

Isn't the word "chipbusking" a bit excessive? It reminds me of "It's a good thing I brought my empty alphabet soup batcontainer" and "Wow, this weighs a Mega-ton!".

Do people say "ukubusking" or "guitbusking" or "saxbusking"? It just seems so odd.

For some reason I thought most people who released stuff for free put it under a CC Use and Share For Noncommercial purposes and give credit.

On the parts where there is currently no kick, you could add a little pitch bend macro to your bass table to give it a bit of a kick that terminates into the actual bass tone so you don't have to be stuck with the alternating "kick bass kick bass". Downside is that the pitch of the kick transposes with with the bass note, but I don't personally mind that.

Personally, I like the non-unciness of it. If you do add more kick to it, you could do more of a jungle type kick pattern or something maybe?

Also I feel like it lacks a bit of soul and fancy sound effects tricks maybe??? Dunno.

Nice arps big_smile

WOW that is a strong kick... I'll have to remember to turn down the bass if I ever play this in the car.

I like the ambiguity of the beat in the beginning. Good stuff. I don't know but I feel like the kick is overpowering everything else especially the lead until it gets to the second half, but that's personal preference and possibly my sound setup. That's probably the effect you're gong for.I like that little jazzy lick you threw in there.

This is really cool 4x4 stuff in the second half big_smile
