what happened to NUCLACE? I noticed he took a lot of his releases down off his bandcamp

He's still alive, posting hedgehogs to his heart's content at µCollective

Did you scratch the back or front of the LCD?

To be honest I don't really mind it. It could've been worse; the scratches could be on the front. So long as the DMG is operational, I've nothing to worry about. I'll do what I can. smile

I don't think ant1 stopped writing just because he isn't on cm.o anymore. He has one song uploaded over there at microC. Also, he has stated that he doesn't do drugs.

Can your GBC play regular official GBC carts?
Edit: Nevermind, just re-read OP

And so the terrible chipmusic titles thread becomes yet another tool for persecution.

Pretty sure that's not the type of request this sub-forum is meant for.

more contrast for more hum doesn't seem like a good trade off.

That's not what's supposed to happen.

the whine could be caused by not grounding the extra pins not used on what i presume is a 74hc04 or something similar,

Edit: From my limited knowledge on the subject, this sounds reasonable. I know I always get extra whine and hum with my guitar gear when there's a grounding issue.

It gives you more contrast so you can better see the contents of the screen.

Salsa&Chips

Haha, I was going to post "Chips and Salsa" but deleted it because thought it was a little too cheesy.

I'm sorry, I'm on a horrible snowball down a steep hill and I can't stop:

"Sine Your Soul Away"
"8Bit Blood Sample"
"Saw my Heart in W03" (You'll get it eventually.)
"I Saw the Sine"

Edit:okay, last one for the gurrl power tweens out there:
"Boys Byte"

Back when I was a kid, I used to love the song "I Want To Be Your Lady Baby" by INOJ because of the line "These feelings I have for you Can go deeper if you can come Correct with your game boy" (for some reason all these years I thought she was saying "Bring your Gameboy" until I just looked it up).

Is anyone else bracing themselves for one of their track names to show up here?

I would say "Chipset Sunset" but it's so awesome that it transcends its name as well as time and space.

No.
The closest I have, at least with released tunes, is "Piggy", which is a reference to LGPT (It's a HVL tune, though,). Urm... actually, "No I Cannot Break This" probably does count... =S

honestly I didnt mean for people to actually start referencing ACTUAL titles.

Okay, well I'll re-list this one: "As my Seriousbusinessman Gently Weeps". And here are some more:

"Give 'Em The AHX"
"Mi Amiga, Mi Corazon"
"Game Boys Byte The Dust"
"Come On, Let's Fight!"
"Follow the Red Brick Road"
"The Rainbow Road Connection"
"Chip Off The Ole Gray Brick"
"Can't Stop The Bit"
"BMPin' 2 The Bit"
"Big Game Huntin' Boy"
"Don't H8 The Playa (H8 The Game, boyEE)"
"Playa Playa #1"
"Laughing Dogs Don't Die"
"Back and Forth, SID to SID"
"Cya in '64"
"Young Man, 26(12 Guage Shotgun)"
"I'm Atari-eady to Go"
"My Gal Wears a MIDI"
"My 12-String GAtari"

K, I'm done.

All my titles are stuff like "song 1, Pc1. 1,"

Sometimes I'll just put in random letters, then, once the song is finished, make the random letters into an acronym. It usually works out pretty well.

Edit: "This Town Was Built On Grey Bricks"
Edit: "My Sweet 16-bit"
"Cool '64" (<---Smooth jazz right there, man.)
Edit:okay, last one for the gurrl power tweens out there:
"Boys Byte"

Well, maybe you could sacrifice one for science and see how safe drilling would be?

fwiw, the question was a real honest to goodness sincere question. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how the plan turns out.

The vocals lack that 80's-90's smoovness (Rick Astley for lack of a better example), but it's about as good as anything I've heard here. I mean, averaging out all the singers who get a "good job" from the leets.

What would be the point of having a GBC clone inside of a GBC shell anyway? That takes away the whole "coolness" factor of having something unusual, especially considering the sound problems that it has, disregarding the coolness of the noise channel. If anything, I'd rather put a real  GBC inside of  a GBBC case.
