then the *preferred* alternative is to put the calc next to an AM radio.

FTFY - I'll test this today. Thank you for your help.

I tried "TXTRACK99" and it said it was too long. I tried "TXT99" and it seemed to work. I am now running Houston Tracker on the TI-83+ to the best of my knowledge. I have no way to actually hear it yet. Herp. Derp.

A direct drop displays "The name for this variable is not valid" text and gives me the option to rename "TXTRACKDependAsk."

Bump.

TI Connect is giving me an error when using the USB Silverlink cable with TI-83+, no matter what version of Houston Tracker I try to upload. It says "Incompatible Type." Mirage OS uploaded just fine, so I know it's working properly.

Perhaps I'm missing something. Anyone else?

Bump because I'm tired of seeing shitty posts on the front page.

Anyone actively using chipper? Hardware?

I'm simply saying that a nice looking case has a better chance of being stolen than anything else, but sure, throw your entire setup in there.

Have all your gear stolen at once! Convenient!

@cdk You might have to be specific in what defines a 'chip' release, as this could lead you down the slippery slope of Amigacore vinyl. In that case you're possibily looking at hundreds of releases. Some of these have been long forgotten/had very short pressing runs. I'm not even kidding.

The absolute best:

$153 and that's actually cheap compared to what I've seen firsthand.

Had this in my bookmarks for close to two years. Forgot about it until today. Music geekery starts @ 6:00.

Music selector? S. Roddy? Glorified sound test?

*edit* "S. Roddy" is actually Steve Ruddy of NES/c64 fame. Interesting.

Troll in 3..2..

I had an organ and couldn't find a taker. One morning I figured "fuck it" and I pushed it off my roof so it landed next to the garbage cans in my alley. Little did I know there was a cop parked about fifteen feet from where the organ exploded. Thankfully the cop was inside a nearby restaurant during impact.

Point being, organs are awesome.

That's all the Amiga ever was to me anyway. Samplers are only as boring as the user.

There are two filters on the A500/600. One you can toggle (ground that shit to remove the possibility of it ever turning on) and the other filter removes all the high end for some ridiculous reason. The A1200 doesn't have the second, permanent filter. Regardless, both filters are completely worthless so I remove that part of the circuit and connect the audio out much closer to Paula.

I disagree. This is the first thing I remove when modding. That filter is terrible.

Don't listen to them. Anything is possible. I'd personally love to see a standalone Paula sampler w/ musicline engine. Actually doing it is another thing completely.
