I did check that, but made the key reassignment changes with Dashcode.  I re-made the config in TextWrangler, put it in the same folder as the executable and it worked perfectly!  Thanks bleo!

PULSELOOPER, I wish I could help you but I can't... but do you happen to know which button on a macbook is the equivalent of LT/Left Shoulder/Right Control?  I want to clone my chains/phrases but I can't.

My googling skills have failed me.  I tried to reassign with my config.xml with no success.  Any help is appreciated.  Thanks!

milkytracker seemed to be working fine on my caanoo, but I don't know how to write with it.  Piggy runs great, the only thing I've noticed is that with the build I am using, when I go to save and quit it says, "Save and Loose Faith?" (sic) and then it freezes, and I have to restart the caanoo if I want to run a different application.  I don't know enough about all the piggy commands, but I've made a few simple sample-based (as in, no oscs and stuff) songs and it works fine, loads quick, sounds good.  I like the how the analog stick works and feels, but if you are used to a d-pad it might feel strange.

I haven't done too much with either, but pikix and grafx2 also seem to work fine on it.  I tried running nintenchords and those other programs that Nick Maynard made for NES on gpfce, and they kinda worked, but I don't think they work the same as they do on an NES.

I usually start writing on the guitar or ukulele, and then work on my gameboy parts to add some fun sounds and a dope-ass beat to really flesh things out.  Since most of my songs have lyrics, they are usually about something that either I think is funny, important, absurd, or a story.  Sometimes they are not so good, but I like writing and it's really satisfying for me to share something with my friends.  And if I don't make a song in awhile, I smash things.

This... is... AWESOME!  Seriously, great tunes, you rock.  I especially love "Bounce Bounce" and "I Know Now".  Any plans to come through Boston?

Bit shifter has done a couple really great covers, "Angelf#ck" on the Misfits "EightBreeders" comp on calmdownkidder, and "the world has turned and left me here" on the weezer 8-bit album on .  Anamanaguchi has a cover on the same weezer 8-bit album, "holiday", and that has vocals on it too.

I am working on some songs with vocals and acoustic guitar, hopefully going to get an e.p. out sometime this summer.  It'd be great if you could listen to it when it is done and say, "BEST INDIE-CHIP-ROCK WITH VOCALS EVARRR!!!  FANTASTIC GEDDY LEE IMPRESSIONS!"

ditto on the 10k, Bleo, J. Arthur K, sadnes, and Br1ght Pr1mate.  All of those people make awesome music.

I've been listening to this nonstop: http://brightprimate.bandcamp.com/album … e-industry
since April 7th when I bought it at the Middle East Up, it's so good.

When's this going to be released?  Did you get enough submissions?

Me too!  Good job!  MCP, I know it's still early... but when is this coming out?

Oh yeah, I never heard what type of file you wanted the songs, so I e-mailed you 320kbps mp3s.  If that doesn't work, please let me know so I can send you the right kind.  Thanks!

"insight" - almost done!

please tell me someone is trying "chemical warfare"... please?

sorry Ryan, i'm in a similar no-name-having rut.  i can't reveal my top contenders... but here are a few throw-aways:

lumberjack film school
hand on dick

and if you're dead-set on "Hero":
lumberjack hero school
hero on dick

sorry, i am not helping, but good luck!

that was awesome.  i would say that everyone who i had seen before (The Attic Bits, Br1ght Pr1mate, AGA, Radio Scot Void) has gotten twice as awesome as they were the last time that I saw them... and active knowledge was awesome too, and doomcloud rules.
