I think equating these guys with IFD is pretty uncalled for, I actually enjoyed the song, I would just like to see them develop a more original style.

“The original sound output that’s on it is… it sounds awful,” said Maynard. “You install this [the new output] and it sounds a lot louder. It’s clearer; the tone is bassier. It sounds like a professional synthesizer.”
I thought that was a bit much, the original output sounds fine, the mod just removes a slight hiss (maybe your gameboy had an unusually shitty output?). The music is good, but it sounds A LOT like Anamanaguchi to me, I would encourage you to strive for a more unique sound.

Thanks Subway Sonicbeat, yeah, the melodica is definitely one of my favourite instruments, very expressive and such a nice sound.

I'll second that suggestion, maybe add Alex Mauer and Zabutom too.
On a sidenote: that lineup so far looks rad as fuck.

You could use drums sampled from the NES, I think bucky posted a massive pack of DPCM drums on 8bc a while ago.
EDIT: found it - http://www.hotdogstorm.com/bucky/sample _11_08.zip
