Didn't ever expect to see this, wish I'd done a better track! Love PDF's song so much.

That's strange, I imagine it would be on Bandcamp's end because Bandcamp generates the different file types from my WAV masters.

Thanks pals! stargazer: you should get the EP somewhat shortly after you buy it, but remember that it only comes with the physical CD and not the digital download.  If you want to change the order you can send me a message on facebook or an email and I'll do a refund on paypal.

Thanks for the comments everyone, glad to see people liking it -- it took way too long to do.  Mighty Social Lion is up for pre-order now - http://thejarthurkeenesband.bandcamp.co … ocial-lion -- of course I welcome both Beiber and Barrett comparisons, two sides of the same coin, yeah? Well, not really.

Now available for free until my new album comes out on August 10th -- go go go

----------------------------- NEW SINGLE, CONGRATULATIONS / I LOVE YOU MORE -----------------------------

First single from new full-length album Mighty Social Lion, to be released on August 10th!  Single has one album track and one single-only b-side.

In other news - Finally, a website

Updated will be found on facebook and what not and of course I won't miss an opportunity to pester this forum when the album is out, enjoy!

As sad as I was to not see a new release, I could never be disappointed by this baby.  Particle Charge convinced me to make chipmusic!

If it's for a home studio, wouldn't you want a recording interface of some kind (assuming you're recording on your computer) instead of (again I'm assuming) what looks like a live mixer? You should be able to find a decent (at least) 2 channel usb or firewire interface for $100-$150 or so on craigslist.  Especially since you're probably recording not too many sources simultaneously (so many assumptions).

Ahhhhh, I'm stupid, thanks a lot.  I can't believe I've used this thing for 6 years without knowing that!

I'm experiencing a problem where I'm trying to match the tempo in LSDJ to an already recorded track with a swung rhythm, it was recorded to a click, but the swung element was not set, it was just part of the performance, so it's consistent but not metronomic.  My problem is that when one changes the groove settings in LSDJ the set tempo is no longer what it's set at, ie. if you played something in this changed groove setting against a click the beats would not line.

So my question is basically how would one add a groove to a sequence in LSDJ while keeping it at a specific BPM? I assume you would have to do some math that I am in no way qualified to figure out, maybe it's only possible for some tempos or easier with versions that aren't from 2007?  Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I only lazy listened, but I really enjoyed the music, hypnotic and quirky, but very nice melodically, I'll have to get over my laziness and see it in full form.

Y'all could have made lots of music instead of writing these huge comments.  Also, I could have made lots of music instead of reading them.  Fuck.  Back to work.

Heh, I was happy to drop $90 on one of the first batch of Jose's USB carts and it was still worth it despite the fact that it was five months of not having emails responded to before I got it...I guess it just depends on how much the convenience/features are worth to you, if they aren't, just grab an EMS cart, no use in complainin".
