Paul the Penguin and Yuki's Satellite !!!

This is a nice project I have an idea for nanoloop. Use the pads for every steps in Nanoloop and add 2 sliders to edit the note you pressed (pitch and octave if you are in the notes and etc...)
If you cant access the dpad and buttons like start or select add it (make small buttons like the mpc !)
oh btw...Square buttons please, less chances to miss the pads...and I'm more used to these !!! (I'm a MPC user)

Really good idea but useless for me. This website is a pinned tabs in my browser ! tongue

The best way to do it is to use any Atari ST tracker running in Hatari (An Atari ST emulator)
You can get it here :
http://hatari.tuxfamily.org/
If you are not really used to Hatari or to Atari STs. I highly recommend you to check out this tutorial made by DHS ! It will givesyou the links for the TOS roms and all these stuffs too !!! smile

For the tracker, I recommend you MaxYMiser if you want something powerful (but the editor have a harsh learning curve !) if you want something more simple try Musicmon 2.5e but you cant use buzz, sid and digis if you want it to run at 50hz if I remember well !)
Be sure to check out this page to get these softwares !

Enjoy and Have fun ! big_smile

Thanks everyone - that will give me a few chips to research. I'd be interested to know what these chips appeared in. Just checked out a couple of SNDH files this morning - are they native Atari ST synth tunes?

Yes all the SNDH you find in the archive are done and can be runned on a native ST (or STe with some songs that use the DMA track)

-YM2149 in the Atari ST...it was just an AY chip but with all the trick you can do with the CPU of the computer is really cool !
-OPL3
-2A03 + expension chips (VRC6/7, FDS, MM5, N163 and 5B)

I used a 28 gauge at my job since the one I got when I ordered my prosound mod was too short ! :S

IMO the best thing to do is get a Powerpak, Everdrive N8 or something like that and get your hands on Neil's roms !!! big_smile
Too many years I saw people crying saying stuffs like "No Native trackers on NES boohoo" and when we finally have some great tools thanks to Neil Baldwin, no one touch em lol !!! /rant

I have a pulsar cart, but I can't figure out saving. It seems like they keep getting deleted randomly, but other times my songs persist in between shutting it off. Do you have any tips? I apologize in advance if this is something super simple on the readme or something.

Owning a pulsar cart is kinda weird because you can only have 1 song per save if I remember well and the save file is 32kb instead of 8kb. Maybe this is why your cart erase by itself !
Totally recommend to get a flashcart in which you can put the mappers that allow you to use 32kb savefiles like the Powerpak !!!
