I'll weigh in: make sure you have good iron levels. I'm not the best eater, and I am borderline anemic apparently, which causes me to often feel faint, lose focus, and be a bit emotionally dead. Iron plays a huge role in how you feel. I don't have ADD or ADHD so I cannot really relate to that part of focusing, but my girlfriend has struggled for years with chronic depression. For a while she and I were both on medications that were medically "fixing us up" but not letting us be mentally clear. Now we're both pretty balanced out, and the side effects of our medicines aren't nearly as strong as they used to be.

Talk to your doc, make sure there are other options you can try. There's more than one way to skin a cat.

tl;dr:

but seriously, I have Autism, ADD, ADHD, and Major Depressive, and I know the deal with feeling like it's fucking impossible to be medicated/balanced out without compromising your creative capacity. Shit sucks. It's pretty much just a guess-and-check thing with medications, so that's something to consult your doctor about; it's not efficient, but it's kind of the only way to figure this stuff out at the moment from person to person. I'll say this: Don't do what I do, which is cut yourself off of your current medication when you need to be creative. It ends up doing harm long-term.

I was there when his cart was stolen, actually; he visited Providence and we played a set together, and I guess some little kids pickpocketed him during my set.

Still had tons of fun though. I'll be in touch next time I'm in providence.

I've done some 1xLSDJ DnB stuff on my album: http://madwaves.bandcamp.com/album/hyperreality

Check out Crook O, Thought Crime, Living in Filth, and Kensington Strangler.

My advice is don't use just 1xLSDJ. The drums created in LSDJ just don't do justice to DnB and at some point you'll have to sacrifice aspects of either the drums or the bass for one to sound close to what you really want. 2xLSDJ could work better but honestly you're better off pairing LSDJ with a DAW building your drums tracks inside the DAW.

Not so! LSDj drums can totally work DnB. Yeah, it won't sound like literal Amen breaks if you aren't using samples, but I write Drum/Drill/Glitch n' Bass all the time. Make a table-compressed noise snare, and an arsenal of noise hihats with varying shapes and parameters for the K command, and a good thick kick drum in the wave channel, and it's totally within reach.

Pan guitars like crazy and dont let the fucking cymbals and crashes and hihats mess with the overall mix.

Is the GB primarily rhythm, lead, percussive, or all three?

Lead of sorts; I play rhythm but I kind of front the band and direct it. The gameboy sometimes plays melodies, sometimes sort of 'pads', and sometimes both.

Something I've struggled with for a really long time is how to properly integrate the LSDj parts of my band's songs into the mix with the guitar/bass/drums/vocals during live sets, in terms of EQ-ing. I don't know if it's best to let the Game Boy's sounds sit on top of the mix, blend in, have some stuff make room for it, etc.
It can sometimes get too muddy, or too tinny and shrill.
Advice?

I once woke up vibrating. Turns out, I was in a Sharper Image. Turns out, I had a hard-on. Turns out, no one cared.

Genres and subgenres stick around, at the very least, in a given community/communities.
Besides, if chipthrash is fused with other stuff, it'll vitalize it more. We know what has to be done:
