Thanks for the info!

Are there any interesting new features in the 2.0 version?

I will be honestly with you – I never had version 1.0 but its Brendan Byrne, who has been making mine.

This unit features:
Midi-in
Midi-out
LSDJ-Slave (sync)
LSDJ-Master (sync)
LSDJ Keyboard
Nanoloop
MGB

I have been lucky to get my hands on a Arduinoboy v2.0 for my gameboy and I have been doing some test with some different gear, so I want to share my conclusions with the different gear. I want to note that the latest LSDJ version for Arduinoboy is 4.1.0 and I have been asking Johan about future versions with support of Arduinoboy. But Johan has been too busy lately to make the addressing for the newest version, but a newer version could fix some of the crashes I had.

My test has been based on doing sync from other gear:
Doepfer Dark Time > Arduinoboy v2.0 > Gameboy
Conclusion: A bit buggy.

Korg Monotribe (w. midi) > Arduinoboy v2.0 > Gameboy
Conclusion: Made lots of crashes!

Elektron Machinedrum > Arduinoboy v2.0 > Gameboy
Conclusion: Works perfectly!

Akai Mpc-1000:
Conclusion: Works perfectly, very similar to Elektron Machinedrums sync.

Daw test – Renoise & Cubase SX 3
Renoise: Works perfectly!
Cubase Sx3: Works perfectly

Alesis Micron:
Conclusion: The gameboy didn’t want to receive the midi clock from the unit.

Korg Microkorg:
Conclusion: Made lots of fatal crash and didn’t want to sync.

Xoxbox:
Conclusion: Sync perfectly

Nord Modular G1
Conclusion: Didn’t want to receive the midi clock

Nord Modular G2
Conclusion: Made lots of fatal crash and didn’t want to sync.

Hello Chipmusic people
I like to buy a LSDJMC2, any in Europe who want to sell theirs?

Kind regards
Waveboy

lsdjmc2! please!

Well I have order a LSDJMC2 from djtransformer (Dave Neil) – a friend of mine told me, that djtransformer send him his order very fast and without any problems and I thought that it would hurt to give it a try.

Besides this, there is written that he accepts paypal, that’s not true I only had the option of “Goggle Wallet” which I’m not very familiar with. I paid those 106 £ (incl. transport) at 18 January and the order status has been stuck as “Payment accepted” since. It’s fine that he got the money but I’m not happy with that I didn’t get my product.

So I have been trying to get in touch with him through private mail, msn, facebook, webshop mail, google wallet mail and there is no response – is the guy dead? If so, then somebody should close down his online shop.

Anyway – I’m now in touch with the Google Wallet team, they will try contacting seller and probably refund my money from his account if he doesn’t response. Because I don’t want to donate my money to a dead man’s account.

like, one that mounts inside the game boy maybe?

I was more thinking about an external module similar to this Link (http://www.djtransformer.com/shop/produ … product=15), the problem about Djtransformer/Dave Neil is that the guy doesn’t response on mails or send them after people has paid and therefore loses lots of potential customers, who search for a gameboy midi interface.

I like to see a pre-made lsdjmc2 and not only a pre-programmed lsdjmc2 pic big_smile *wishing*

what are you syncing to? if just a laptop and you don't need any modes besides sync, think you could get away with one of the nanoloop usb midi adapters, which ship from germany and are super cheap

edit: link to product page

2nd edit: also may have figured out what i did wrong when trying to sync, so i might sell my midi->gb this week

I want to sync Gameboy with a Elektron Machinedrum

Are we talking 9volt DC or AC?

I want to use it with my Gameboy pocket – to sync LSDJ.

I have read some bad about this seller to, but I don’t know if its random bad experience some has proably got their thing delivered as they ordered.

Are there any other retailers in Europe?

I don't have the time to sell these.  I'd simply be putting schematics and software online, fully open-source.

Damm I was hoping on a final product, which we could buy by you because I don’t have any soldering skills. So I guess I will go buying one of the other models – following this topic is useless for me.
