Assassin's Creed, I think you'll find, has a rich and singularly well-researched plot which combines myth, history, conspiracy theory and the doomsday scenario of many cultures into a game which is impossible to lose or do well in - extra lives have long since been considered obsolete, you know. This is progress. Indeed It contains, on sufficiently close examination, Every Character Who Ever Lived. so I don't know from whose ass you pulled this singualarly inept criticism from.
