i get my browsers player (i think? never seen that one before), but it has the same playback issues. when i right click --> save link as, the resulting file download is very slow; a 3 minute mp3 is estimated at 7 minutes, and the resulting files seem to be a lot shorter than the original, it was just 30 seconds the one time i waited for it to finish.

Recent shot of a set I played recently. There was a nice atmosphere and energetic audience. Check out the guy's bass face behind!

I also had a visual set up which visuals I programmed were responsive to the audio's waveform and frequencies. (Not visible)

2 x Gameboys,
1 x Kaoss Pad 3
1 x Roland Digital Reverb
1 x Roland MX 5 mixer

Using additional effect units on stage is useful being able to improvise and adds further fluidity to the unprocessed raw 8 bit sounds. Mixed with a more club based sound and modern electronic appeal this technique works well together.

"bass face"
that one i hadnt heard yet
gotta tell my drumnbass-bassist friend about that

im having trouble playing back tracks in the music section for about a week now. it starts playing, then stops and buffers. the buffering is extremely slow, so i basicly cant listen to anything. dont have any trouble on other sites. anyone experience something similar or have an idea what exactly might be the problem?
i updated both flash player and java a couple of days ago, didnt solve the problem. other devices have the same issue.

Keep in mind that lot of small devices employ a faux-surround effect to make their tiny speakers sound bigger than they actually are. They achieve this by using a type of phase inversion that pushes the mix out wider with science. THIS WILL FUCK YOUR MIX if you use a similar effect in production (It will invert your inversion, undoing it entirely), or if you have a lot of phase-able duplicate material overlapping itself (It will sound ghostly and out of place). I first noticed this on my macbook.

devices with faux-surround effects can burn in a fire

Reference tracks are helpful, looking at the phase scope/ EQ meter is helpful.
But what's helped me IMMENSELY recently is playing back the track through the shittiest speakers I can find.
Mix the track on good speakers so you can hear everything.
But master it so that it sounds good even coming out of a laptop!

this, so much. who am i kidding though, the last time i put any effort into mastering was like a year ago; that is why all my LSDj tracks on soundcloud have a "beta" label
