Hi,
Sesska, newcomer on GB music with LSDJ \o/
Mostly doublebass player (balkan/gipsy folk - swing), flutes and ukulele... I used to make some noisy d&b-jungle-abstractHH-dubish things on reason in a previous life...
i've just found my oooooold GB in a box ''by chance'' (actually searching for my 2 screens donkey-kong pocket game for a funny kitshy present to my 5yo son^^) and felt like giving it a try!got no clue about 8bit/chiptune uses and culture though... a bit of why i'm here... and seek some tips on how to improve on this new toy...
i occasionally play klezmer music with my friends here in jerusalem....maybe one day you and i can combine our european folk music knowledge with that of chip music and make some interesting stuff together : )

LSDJ & LGPT, they are fun and functionally identical.
nanoloop, VERY user friendly and pretty cool for hip-hop/trip-hop type beats
Deflemask, this one is underrated, and I cannot understand why.
yo, idk that ive heard any of your piggy work- got any handy???

Re: Would you accept a record deal offer? (28 replies, posted in General Discussion)
most of the "standard" record label proposals that i hear of are not very appealing to me...
an arrangement i would be enthusiastic about would be to have someone who i respect and who liked my music work with me on refining my style and helping me toward certain musical goals- like a music mentor. it would be like having a "manager", but there'd be no money involved, haha.

I got the name from a spelling mistake I made many moons ago.
Sometime in the very late 90's or the early 2000's I saw a stand up special with Russell Peters on the internet and there was a part of his routine where a guy named Anthony was asked for his Chinese name and it apparently sounded like "Tap Some Bong" and Peters was making a joke about that. I thought he said Katsumbhong...
hahaha i am glad you explained this! i have been wondering how to pronounce your sn for a while
