With fresh batts it runs for a bit. I could plug it into the wall but that would defeat the purpose of using it in the first place

Has anyone used a handy power plus before? I can't find any info online about it, batt life, charging, etc. How does it run with an ems cart on a pocket? Love the pocket but need way more batt life.

I think 15 dollars was going to be my max bid but it is already at 15.50! These prices are outrageous.

Are you saying dubstep isn't a good genre for this comp??? I'm confused
It just may be too heavy for the comp. I was going to write a lullaby.
Ya i have a track i havent had much time to work on but it will definitely be in there.

Re: Transferring files to old laptop (11 replies, posted in Other Vintage Computers & Consoles)
Update: I found a solution to my issue.
Problem: Windows 98 reading a CD burned in XP as an audio CD with a single track Track01.cda (The track doesn't even play. What a shitty musician I am. T_T wah wah)
Reason: Windows XP writes "Live File System" CDs but Windows 98 reads "Mastered" (A more universal format) CDs. Live File System came after Mastered therefore my Thinkpad has no idea what is going on, hence the confusion.
Solution: Windows Vista/7 allow for CD formatting changes so you can write Mastered CDs for use in older systems.

Now I won't need a zip drive or to connect via COM port. Just need to borrow my girlfriends laptop. Thanks again for the immediate help and for the offer Jefftheworld!

So i recently got a hold of a Thinkpad 760EL and i want to throw adlib tracker 2 on it. Well it only has a CD drive and any data CD i put in there shows up as an audio CD. It has no floppy drive, it has no usb drive, it has no network connection. Any thought on how to transfer the necessary files or a fix to the problem i am having with data discs?
EDIT:
Solution: Windows Vista/7 allows for CD formatting changes so you can write Mastered CDs for use in older systems. (XP does not)

Re: iPhone apps (23 replies, posted in Software & Plug-ins)
Just a heads up for a decent alternative to nano and sun on the iPhone. 8bitone+ is another, decent sound, piano rolls, easy navigation, blah blah blah.
I like the idea of drawing stuff and having music come from it. That would be a lot of fun
