Hey, I finally get to post one of these!  Getting ready for the Datathrash BRKfest pre-show in standard fashion:

Nice! I wish Behringer made more battery-powered mixers. How's the battery life on that one?

All my music is washed out with guitar fx, so I've developed my own brand of chungaze-ing.

not going to post any of my audio gear right now, since its a mess... but this is is my current visual rig... korg kaptivator, edirol v4 & piggy->midi controlling them both...feedback and processed loops

This looks like a mess of fun. I've been trying to built a viz setup. Any suggestions on a (somewhat) inexpensive video mixer?

The Korg KP3 is my personal fav. Unfortunately they're difficult to find for under $200.

The new miniKP2 has looping capabilities and built in FX, which goes for $150 new, so you may find one used for cheaper. The GameBoy-ish size is nice too.

My setup at the moment. DS-10 syncin' with the Monotribe amongst other fun things.

I don't see why it wouldn't work.

I taught myself LSDJ with an emulator on the Wii before I got a flash cart, and that worked just fine.

I'm 22, and when I was 3 I started playing around with my mom's grey-brick DMG she had from college. Super Mario Land, Yoshi, Tetris, and Daedalian Opus. I never knew the "rules" of Tetris until I was about 12, though.

Vinyl paint is great. It bonds with the plastic, and dries nice and flat if you do light coats. You can find it at Autozone.

Are there any other colours planned?

Been meaning to paint my microkorg like that. It's sooo beautiful. Did you do it yourself? Any tips?

Thanks! I did do it myself!

Only tips really is to carefully disassemble it so you're just left with the plastic shell; then you don't have to bluetape everything. I used vinyl paint from Autozone; doesn't come off after intense manhandling.

I really want to get an old Moog or Doepfer knob to replace the genre/patchbank knob to match the others.

My cute little mini live setup.

• Play It Loud! DMG (RCA prosound)
• Korg KP3
• microKorg
• Fostex MN-50 (Battery-powered mixer/compressor I found in a closet, somewhere.)
• Tortoiseshell cat
