Thanks y'all. I made this up because I have a bad memory and have to refigure out how to wire up a PS2 socket after not being able to read my worn out drawings. Lol lol

Cool. This should be really helpful for some people, but you haven't indicated the orientation of the hex inverter. Generally pin one is indicated with a circle.

Good call! Will edit.

LOL smile Yes. True. This is more like a cheat sheet for people that know how to mod and it's easier to read real quick.

I would pre-order grey, black, white, clear, BLUE and YELLOW.
Are you going to have any printing on them? One color with none of the original print is a little disappointing.

So awesome. I've hand made a couple like this and have had a few requests for completely clear ones with text.
Will be buying when available!

Hey, does anybody know of any documentation on doing NES audio mods that covers the top-loading model 101? Has anyone done it? I know I've seen it done quite nicely (Crashfaster uses one, for ex.). While I could probably figure it out, it would be great to see a decent shot of the board with the audio out points marked, for example. All I've found so far is "A/V mod" discussions on benheck style sites that pretty much gloss over the issue of audio. The 101 is hard enough to find at a decent price that I'd rather not dig into the thing without some idea of where I'm going first if possible.

I've done it to a top loader. The mod is exactly the same.

Another little note. They are taller and thicker.
The power switch has 3 positions. Off, on and on with backlight.
So you can choose to have the light on or not. It may sound better with it off.
Also, it takes AA batteries.

I may be a little bit late on this but https:/thursdaycustoms.com

May be the lowest prices around. In the off chance something goes wrong, I guarantee my work and will fix/replace anything that goes wrong with it. No charge.
You were paying $100 per boy? I hope they had several mods.
I also do bulk deals. I charge $65 for a grey boy with a backlight and pro-sound. I actually charge even less for internal pro-sound rather than an added jack.

[email protected] if you would like to talk.
