wish i weren't so broke, would love to grab the pair of fb-01s in rackmount (and i guess get rid of my single unit if i did), but im hopeful that it will find a good home

for sure, he's one of my biggest influences... haven't been lucky enough to see him do a solo set, but saw him perform with matmos about 9 years ago

i wouldn't bet on that, given that lesser is from the san diego area and did this http://www.discogs.com/Brotha-P-Touch-L … ase/136416 (though that came out in 2002, not so sure if he was using the c64 in his earlier works)

good thing he can too, might be the only person geographically near enough to pretty much guarantee that something shipped today would arrive by saturday without paying huge shipping costs

seeing as he said the battery died, seems unlikely

wow, both the lsdjmc2 and kenton usb host are steals... someone should snatch those up quickly... the usb host is also very useful in combination with a nanoloop usb midi adapter, allowing you to connect it to normal midi gear (that's how i usually use mine)

probably best to throw it on ebay at this point, you'll likely get your money back...

Very awesome stuff! Is NL2 sync planned? I would love to mess around with it but I don't have a flash cart tongue

yes, nl2 sync is planned. he doesn't have the hardware to test it but that shouldn't be too much of a problem what with the community here and all

not sure about newer versions, but nanoloop 2.3 's demo rom can run on normal flashcarts (you just can't save, of course)... think you have to hit both the l shoulder and r shoulder at the logo for it to load (or some other two button combo, but i think its the shoulder buttons).. should be enough for anyone wanting to test sync

I think it's still crazy that there were apparently legit bidders up to $1,600 though.
Also lol @ the guy who bid $6969.69

i'd suspect that any of the bids over the $188 one are all from people with no intention of paying (and some below that amount too)
an ebay user with an otherwise good history can definitely get away with 1 or 2 non-paying bidder situations

i've always used live mode for lsdj and piggy tracker songs when playing gigs (and the pattern load screen in nanoloop) except for some situations where i was using additional hardware that kept me busy. makes it more enjoyable for me and i like the freedom to switch things around a little more on the fly. sometimes i use it for recordings too, though not as often.

i'm not trying to be a dick, but if you think i am one thats up to you i guess... im not tryng to "prove how smart i am", i just give a damn about the distinctions between words.

If Piggy had a synth and/or wave creation thing, as well as the ability to "Save As..." and export to -songtitle-.wav, it would be the most perfect tracker for me.

if you want to get a wav, run the windows version of piggy tracker with the RENDER=FILERT or RENDER=FILESPLITRT (the second option gives you a wav for each individual channel) and simply play the track. after playback is stopped, the dat folder will have your wav file(s) inside

i would if you used the proper words to say what you're trying to talk about. not all music software is a tracker. trackers are one specific subset of music software.
were you attempting to ask what someones ideal chip music software would be?

Yes, I know there are different forms of DAW and yes I meant software.

again, not all music software is a DAW.
