Also, rotate the panel. The wires should be coming out the bottom, not the left side.
Really? I'm pretty sure the envy mounted horizontally.

Flip over the polarizing film/lens... or put it behind the glass, because it looks like you have it sitting on top.
I recommend a Duplicolor 2k lacquer clear coat.
It wont wrinkle the paint.
Side Note: Lacquer is a finicky bitch, go watch some tutorials on youtube for good techniques... I haven't filmed one yet.
Just be sure to take your time peeling off the polarizing film.
Yeah man, it just takes a little practice... I've destroyed a couple myself.
That screen is toast. The little reservoirs with the liquid crystals have been ruptured/torn, that discoloration isn't going away.
The world's in a massive crisis in which taking advantage of the dumbest and most frivolous spenders on the planet is morally despicable... and you know it. Punk's dead because your foot is on its coffin.
Yeah yeah yeah. You've posted this pretty much everywhere now.
It's a pretty flimsy statement, with tons of angsty teenage dbag overtones, and I'm pretty confident that nobody cares.
Also; Punk's dead because the 80's are over. So go play your Crass 45's and cry yourself to sleep.
Maybe I just joined at a bad time...dunno. Maybe I'm way the hell too old for a community that seems to be made mostly of late teens and early twenty-somethings. Or yknow.. maybe I'm just an asshole
Even though I sound like I'm 18 in my videos, I'm almost 29.
From what I've gathered, that's pretty much the median age for this.
I'm always helpful... but I do have a noisy Bullshit Alarm.
Not gonna lie, I'm only 2 months old here, and only been making my own music for about 6 weeks (I think... FACT CHECK) but I haven't had any problems except for 2 or 3 people being assholes, and those kinds of people are easy to brush off. I encourage everyone to ask questions, but you really need to research and hunt down an answer before starting a new thread.
I made it through n00berty™ pretty much unscathed because I did all of my own research, asked reasonable questions in threads that already existed, haven't posted any of my music yet (because it still sounds like shit)... oh yeah, and I build awesome shit.
yes
I don't know about that... my first 50 posts were fuckin' epic!
I've posted it on a bunch of other forums, but I haven't found a buyer to take it as is yet. Had a couple of people ask me to put additional mods in, but I simply don't have the time or money to invest into this project any further.
Gonna try to sling it on ebay as well.
Shot a quick video of it for youtube... I might get lucky.
...I could never allow myself to separate a white and blue Play it Loud haha. This project was to show a color combination that I have not seen a picture of yet. Just thought it would be a cool thing for everyone to see.
Dammit...
I'd be interested to hear about the "patchy" style paint job technique. Never really seen that.
As soon as I get my HD cam, I'll be doing tutorials on all kinds of shit, not just video game stuff. One of the things I'll be covering is different painting techniques, and the "industrial patina" is first on the list.
Ohwow I like the paintjob! Only the external jack would be "unhandy" (is that a word? if not: inconvenient)
You barely notice it, actually.
Also, it's for doing live shows, and you'd have a 1/4" plugged into the bottom anyway.
