same.

You need to keep in mind that these reviews are just the opinions of one guy. He has his own tastes and that is all his reviews are based on. I find them fun to read, and I find he is doing them in an honest (to his tastes) way, but the reviews are highly biased. I find that I dislike most of the music he praises, and I don't hate the stuff he hates half as much as he does. That doesn't make his opinion or mine any more of a universal truth that everybody should agree with. So what I'm trying to say I guess is... read reviews of your material for fun, not for validation of your art.

Oh and.. good work Roboctopus! Very good stuff. I usually hate gameboy material, but this was in a league of its own.

Okay, I had to buy the CD too.  With all of the releases, but this last one especially, CB is becoming THE label.  Lovin' it!

I fully intend to ruin that reputation. In about a month, I'll be severely damaging that good reputation they're slowly building big_smile

i would go busking with my bass or game boy, but the city i live in (heidelberg, germany) doesnt allow amplified busking.

That really sucks dude.

It's even more retarded in Montreal. While it's possible to busk in many areas without too much trouble, most of the places where you stand any chance of actually making any money (parks, metro stations etc) require you to get a permit. Not only do you need to pay for the permit, but you have to perform in front of, and by judged by a snob committee that will decide if your music is worthy of public attention. They you have schedules to respect and everything. It's retarded. Of course its not super well enforced and many people just busk anywhere without giving a fuck, but you can be fined up to something like 500$ if you get caught.

No, plan B involves lubrication and a gameboy with very sharp edges.

You're not. We tried to overwhelm you with information so you'd leave.

Obviously it didn't work. We'll have to revise the plan.

There are ways to fit different screws in there. You can go with a slightly bigger screw, it will make its own threads. Or you can put some epoxy in the screw hole and let it dry, then you can fit another size of screw in there.

A good habit to have is.. whenever you're about to throw dead electronics in the trash, rape the corpses first. Screwns, pots, faders, microswitches, etc. Eventually, you'll have use for those pieces. And if you're like me and have absolutely no shame, when you see some old VCR or whatever in the trash, pick it up and harvest it before putting it back in the trash.

You need to lighten up a bit. It's the interweb.

It's all good guys, Anamanaguchi was on Fallon. We're not niche anymore. Haven't you heard?!
