An important moment in the history of gaming.  The revelation of a long-held urban legend.

I'd love to get hold of one of those carts.

Though they buried a large lot of the games, I thought these were still readily available for cheap? I have a copy and always assumed that anyone with an Atari had one.

I have that game on Atari.

Mac or windows? I use Mac and thretris' site has a tutorial and links on it.

^On my phone so that's the best you'll get for now.

Bleepbloop carts gone. Other stuff still available!

I've never had a problem following thretris' tutorial for Mac. I'll try and post how I do it later with screen shots.

Emergency bump!!  Somebody buy this stuff?  Shoot me offers.  Ridiculously low offers will be ignored but I'll consider all pretty offers.  Can't do trades at this time.

Nice one mate!

I did exactly this. My Derpcart is now in an original gameboy shell.  You'll have to mimic the hole they had for the USB port, but it's not hard to get right. Also there is a small peg on the bottom half (non-label) that will obstruct the board. You can see they removed this in their shell, so do so as well. I drilled a small hole in the front to the left of the logo indent for the LED to shine through. The LED isnt important but it will flash while writing or reading. If you safely eject though, you can ignore it.

Here's how the finished cart looks. I still need to clean up the LED hole.

I'm getting custom labels printed here soon, trying to make this look as much like an official nintendo cartridge as possible (I even included the ESRB rating logo. The old one they used back then. tongue )  Here's a mockup of what I'm getting printed for it.

Will you be selling those labels when printed?  Because I will need 6.  And if you get them with different color schemes that would be even better!

That bottom switch looks like the kind I use.  I love them cause they're so tiny and out of the way.  I got a bag of 100 on ebay for less than $10 like a year ago.  China FTW!

Neato!

That's going to look mint at that size too!

If I had $100 to drop right now I'd be willing to get it on canvas.  That would look even better.

Look into like zazzle or redbubble.  You can upload your art and people can customize the size and location of the print and select the shirt and color and they will do all the printing.  Then they will kick you back a percentage of each sale.  Not sure if you are wanting to make a bunch of profit on the posters but that can be an idea to get shirts out.

Could you do that design (minus the "Chipmusic") onto t-shirts?  Print it on American Apparel 50/50 blend and I'll buy one.

***My flat is pretty loaded with art already so I don't really want any posters.

Im not located in the US. I live in Scotland. I understand that they won't issue a refund without receiving it. I sent it airmail so it will be with them by now. Ive actually been trying to resolve this situation since 17/01/14. Its only recently that I have made it public.

The post has been really slow here in the U.S. for the past month or so.  I have no idea why but things I've ordered as of late keep getting delayed.  In some cases double time so maybe that should be considered as well.  Trust me, I'm impatient and have put my foot in my mouth already once just to look like a fool (why did "f o o l" get changed to "cat"?)when the item arrives.

Thanks for the bump!  These are great carts!  The values for these are all over the place so feel free to make offers or trade offers.
