Hmmm, I think to give everybody enough time to create their samples and write something good, let's make the deadline November 30th. The theme is now officially OPEN, so create whatever you want. smile

I don't see anything wrong with this device. Not too expensive, marketed at the "average" consumer, open-source, allows for some creativity. Another RIGHTOUS INDIGNATION thread, I guess. Meh.

So, a while back I attempted to put together a Yume Nikki Tribute Compo, which turned into a split EP between myself and Lack of Sound smile
Go have a listen here, and grab the free download for 2 bonus tracks wink
Comments/criticism welcome, and THANK YOU for listening to our songs.

Oh, yes!!! Looks like we're off to a great start again. Welcome to the team everybody. Is everyone okay with the theme being open, or do you want it to have a more cohesive feel?

Only use the stock piggy samples? The ones included with the program.

Alright, ladies and gentlemen, it's time to rock out with your stock out and do another one of these incredible comps.
If you don't have an idea what stockwave is, go to http://stockwavemusic.bandcamp.com/ and listen to the three previous albums, you won't regret it smile
Basically you have to create a track using samples from ONLY this weird site.

And now for the nitty-gritty:
* If you plan on creating/submitting a song, let it be known, either in this thread, or email me.

* Anybody is allowed to create/submit as many tracks as they want, as long as it falls within the limitations of stockwave, and more-or-less adheres to the theme. Also, if anybody wants to do cover and/or bonus art, knock yourself out.

* We are open to any/all suggestions for a theme, if everybody wants to, we can even leave it open.

* If you are in contact with wailord, invite his silly ass back, please. Stockwave needs him.

* Theme and deadline will be announced later.

Submissions can be sent to deerpresident(dat)gmail(pot)com

Nice jams! I liked the part where you didn't give a fuck and made music that you WANT to make. 10/10, will listen again:)

Sounds like your ribbon cable is damaged. Try a new one or change the front PCB altogether.

Well, it's open source now. Have at it!

Its far from perfect, but its better than no Piggy. Somebody should really make a native Android/iOS sample based tracker that doesnt require a fucking keyboard and isnt impossible to use on a smaller screen. Why cant there be a native Piggy port? Direct sample recording from mic? SD storage? Easy uploads to soundcloud/dropbox? I cant think of one reason NOT to port it.

This is the worst/best idea EVER! I got it running on my Samsung Galaxy phone, but how do i change the colour scheme or edit the LGPT files?
