Yeah someone did a MOD for me recently and the same thing happened with their order.  That got sorted out though.  I really want to order some more stuff but unless they can take care of my current issue I'll be shopping elsewhere...

If someone would buy my RM1X I would be all over that deal!  Super good buy for an A-boy and modded DMG.  It's like getting a free modded DMG!

Just wondering if anyone else has had issues contacting ASM Retro about missing parts, etc?  I have ordered about $200 worth of stuff from them in the last couple of months and with my first order they forgot to put in stickers which they sort of took care of.  I ordered one of their $99 modded DMG's and they sent me no stickers whatsoever.  After contacting them they mailed the small ASM logos but none of their apeshit logo stickers that are supposed to come with orders over $50.  No big deal really.  Well last week I received an order with 2 of their clear cases and my clear blue case was missing the new battery contacts and the link port cover.  My clear black case had them in the battery compartment but the clear blue one had nothing.  I tried emailing them 5 days ago and still haven't received a reply.  I resent the message yesterday with "parts missing" in the header.  I really do like the quality of ASM Retro goods but the lack of communication sucks.  I also asked about what exactly they will be restocking as I know they are doing away with DIY goods and was hoping they would be restocking their prosound boards as I like their layout.

I would be willing to sell this as well for $250 shipped.  It's in better condition than any RM1X on the bay right now and they don't include the latest OS chip.  With a MIDI splitter you could sequence 16 different things!  It's an amazing sequencer I'm just choosing to narrow my gear down.  I'll also include 30 brand new rainbow colored floppies with it.

For sale or trade is a like new Yamaha RM1X with the latest OS chip(OS V1.13) installed which means you will have zero issues using it with other MIDI gear.  The older OS's had issues with sending junk MIDI messages with the ones you wanted to send causing problems using it to sequence external  gear.  This comes with all the original manuals and the original power supply as well.  The unit is in fantastic shape and only has a few minor scratches.  The screen is scratch free and all the buttons function at 100%.  None of them are going out or acting flakey.  It's a great unit I'm just cutting back on the amount of gear I have.  Looking to sell or trade.

Interested in drag and derp carts and Nanoloop two carts at the moment but feel free to offer anything you might have.  Will also do cash and trade.

I always wondered what the LED was for!  I noticed people in videos had the LED constantly on and wondered why.

i've gotten quite a few emails concerning the smartboy team and their ability to ship in a timely manner (if at all).  i have no idea if they've fixed this issue or not (and, tbh, people often email me with their general complaints which is fine).  just wanted to throw that out their if you are still considering them.

if they offer different shipping options, go with the one which has international tracking so you'll know whats up

Thanks for the heads up.  My next cart is going to be a drag and derp for sure but I may get a smartboy down the road if others chime in with successful transactions.

I heart how Pokemon Lugias Ocean [cib] says "GAMEFOR Advance" instead of gameboy advance haha.

Not trying to dump on your thread but the DMG prices seem a bit high to me.  I just picked up a green PIL, 2 cases, a greyboy with one dead line, and a battery pack for $30 BIN on the bay.

Oh okay I see guys, well thank you for the help, I
don't why I seek one, maybe I can just have my grandpa cast some cart shells that look more true to the original tongue

You can with a little cutting of the innards fit an EMS cart in a normal game boy game case.

I have been eyeballing the GCW Zero handheld and noticed they added ALSA MIDI support on the official website.  I was just wondering how feasible it was that we will have MIDI functionality with the GCW Zero and piggy?  I think it looks like a great little handheld and I'm super interested in piggy.
