No worries! I had really forgot all about bitcoins until this post. Did a search to learn some more and came across the recent articles. Bitcoins still make zero sense to me personally but I do think that it's interesting.

All the current news is saying China's official stance on bitcoins has caused the value to plummet. China itself caused a boom but the government speaking out about it has caused a crash in the past few days.

Speaking of identity theft my granny's bank called saying her social security check didn't come in. Someone used the social security website to route her check to a mailbox in Florida. I guess even if you don't sign up for an online social security account they create one for you anyways. The screwed up part is that since they create it for you it has no security questions to prevent it from being easy for someone to access. Everything is sorted out now but if you know someone in your family that receives social security benefits or disability but hasn't created an online profile you might want to help them create one so it's more secure.

Alto Professional ZMX52 5-Channel 2-Bus Mixer with Zephyr Mic Preamps
I'm using one of these for my setup and haven't had any issues yet. It's a nice little mixer for the price. I'm still super interested in this project though!

I'm 31 and actually did not graduate high school due to not being able to pass algebra 1. I went all 4 years through high school and even finished my senior year even though I knew half way through the year that I would not graduate due to being 1 point away from a passing grade in algebra 1. I immediately obtained my GED and scored so high that they wanted me to go to college immediately but I had had quite enough of school at that point. I still went to college for art later in my life and while I didn't get a degree I'm still glad I went. Sorry if everything is all TMI I'm just at a good point in my life where I'm happy with myself just the way I am and feel comfortable knowing that I won't be struggling through life due to my mental health issues anymore since I finally received a fully favorable decision on my disability case after 10 years of trying. I hope that my story helps inspire others who struggle with some of the same issues I have and gives them maybe even a sliver of hope that things can work out. This community and 8bc before it have been hugely responsible for keeping me not only entertained but focused on a great hobby and an awesome group of people willing to help others learn and grow with them.
you all

I noticed you have to contribute to download. Is it okay if my songs are not all that great? Just asking so I know what's proper and okay with everyone involved. I'm super stoked to dig through people's work because with my ADD issues I learn by doing much easier than by watching people on tutorial videos or reading tutorials. When I was last in the scene attempting to learn and understand the hexadecimal system used in trackers slowed my learning to a halt because I have a lot of issues with numbers. I still don't understand it completely but being able to see how everyone's work is laid out has been helping me a lot.

Re: Saskrotch - Found / First Strike maxi-single (25 replies, posted in Releases)
There's a couple LSDJ tracks on Composer For Hire Vol 1 (Untitled I+II and City Spikes), a GB version of one of the boss themes from A Nation of Wind, and an older EP on Handheld Heroes that sounds like garbage cause I had a terrible idea about what mastering meant. Other than that it's mostly various Mega Man covers that are scattered around my youtube channel
Also y'all just inspired me to DMG Acid 3 to this release (one of the only ones that's both semi-recent and finished). If you already bought it you should just be able to go into your email and re-download.
Thanks guys! I usually don't do the pre-order thing but I'm broke and I have a date tomorrow. (lol?)
Chip in and support saskrotch's date!

I try to always include source files if possible. This one is probably the most interesting sav, also a tutorial document in there: http://datathrash.bandcamp.com/album/hymnal
This is sweet! I'll have to throw some monies your way come payday!
