Hurray! I found two European brands that sell transparent low-pressure spray paint. One is Montana Gold (black and white colours only) and the other's called Mtn Colors 94 Espectro (several colours including red, which I shall have in my hands soon).

Here's the effect on a transparent purple Chinese shell:

Love MTN Spain 94 cans.  They are low pressure cans so it makes them easier to use without dousing your project.  I like how Montana gold works too but ethically I won't support Montana(Germany) with my own money because ripping off MTN(Spain)'s name is low in my opinion.  The can of gold I received was a freebie.

Nah, this thread is just as useless. As I'm part of the subset of people in this world that aren't U.S. army veterans that are unaware of the fact that the information on their identity cards can indeed be used to identify them, the initial topic of this thread is a total waste of my time. What reasoning is it that justifies dedicating a thread on chipmusic.org to this, that somehow doesn't justify posting any other completely irrelevant and mundane information that is only vaguely interesting to tiny minorities of the world?

It might be interesting to some, but as far as the scope of the site goes, it's irrelevant and useless.

There are many US army vets in the community so it is relevant to a good portion of the members here.  Also the thread was accurately titled so you should have known before you even clicked in that it was a total waste of your time.  There is a distinct difference between useful information that affects a good part of the community and "lol look at this picture" threads.  I don't make music with anything other than a gameboy but I'm not claiming the rest of the sub-threads are a useless waste of my time.  Just because something is not relevant to you does not mean it's not useful to others in his community we all share.

@kitsch I thought we really were not supposed to make multiple accounts either?  I remember someone stated that when I asked and I just decided to keep my username.

^Mods please delete the duplicate post.

It's more towards your attitude over said pic and how relentless you are in your rights to post them when you have been told repeatedly what is/isn't appropriate on the forums.  There are plenty of vets around here and this is an informative post.  ICP lookalike pics not so much.  You really should just let it go.  It's silly to keep acting out like an mistreated child.

@puke_flytalker it's been nice knowing you bro.

@katsumbhong awesome job on the DIY windscreens!  Who would have thought human hair could be so useful?  wink

I would probably add a small button above the B and A like Thursday customs Arduinoboy that is in the Kitsch shop right now.  Doing it this way would keep you from draining your batteries if you didn't want to vape at the time.

P.s.  I recently picked up the square synth app for IOS which emulates NES sounds and has a UI designed by Keff.  It's rad and I would not have found it if not for palm sounds!  I thought it was cool to see a UI designed by KeFF as I own 2 of the DMG battery covers he did the art for that Kitsch sells.

So the guy that runs Apptronica an IOS netlabel and IOS music app magazine that is going to be released this month is having a rough spot in his life.  His wife has a chronic heart condition and he has been laid off and unable to find work or obtain unemployment.  He is not only a musician but also a veteran.  I saw this on palm sounds which I highly recommend as they not only feature IOS music apps but regularly feature other cool DIY projects like Mutable Instruments and bleep labs products.
