¡really! looking forward to the full versions!  awesome

by 'map,' what do you mean?  folder/directory?
- be sure you've moved the files from the minidisc to your actual computer.  they need to be on hard drive to install properly

and, what is your operating system (32bit or 64bit too)?

***  also, i guess its worth mentioning...  people who bought carts from KB get free flashing for life on that cart, i'm happy to flash them if they're pissing anyone off.  the only thing to do would be pick up the return shipping (and sending it to me).  the flashing itself, and the frustration that comes with that sometimes, is free smile

yup, the 14th!!!

4.6.2 is still latest stable

another thing i forgot about....

if you reflash LSDJ, try a different version that whats loaded onto the cart.  i *think* there might be a checksum involved, and if the software recognizes the cart has the same ROM as what its trying to flash, i think it might skip the reformatting part.

at least this seems to be the case from using it a whole lot.  ems isn't very helpful with their software,

then, after that, flash the version you actually want.

thanks for looking!

the lsdj ROM has crashed.

the first thing to do is email that info to the email address, [email protected]

the information provided will help in future bug fixes.  its a very helpful thing to do

the next thing to do is if the error occurs again reflash the cartridge with LSDJ, this will force a reformat of the cartridge and put the uncorrupted ROM back on and should be OK.  sometimes the error is a fluke and won't occur again.

hope that helps!

also....

big thanks to abrasive for prepping these carts the way he did...

you've all got some excellent tracks to listen to waiting on the cart for you, try them out before dragging your own files onto the cart!

thats a great link to be able to reference, thanks!

next time i'll split the batch as well.  it seemed to work out really well.

is there a part of the world which got left out because the times I chose?

and, i'll straighten out the EST/EDT thing too, savings time doesn't even occur to me (i have no clue if we are jumped forward or back right now).  i just wait on the news/friends to tell me to change my clock, i didn't even consider this crazy time-keeping practice.  since i'm not a farmer i guess tongue  my bad on that.  feel pretty dumb now, seems like I should know that from grade school, but "EDT" is a delineation i don't think i've ever seen/heard before, i thought EST was the name of this zone (for the whole year).  that was an honest mistake, apologies hmm

just gone done answering the emails about derps from overnight...  feel free to ask more, i don't mind.

and, this should all ship today.  for 'unconfirmed' addresses if i hear back from you before mailman comes!

the second half sold out in 6 min., 36 seconds.

and, to answer the MANY questions, yes there will be more.  i'll catch up to all the emails asap smile

replace all the aluminum electrolytic type capacitors, they're past their prime even if its a play it loud

this type typically lasts ~15 years

changing out the caps does a world of wonder sometimes.

^ yeah, its however you think you can contribute.  sending stuff out, taking stuff in.

network building, spreading the word.

evangelism.

^ yeah, that'd be your cheapest/easiest option, just buying a new one and stripping it for the front PCB board
