if its basic components you are looking for try maplins, bitsbox, or farnell.  you'll save some on shipping buying local, naturally

i ship something to the UK every day now, it'd be no problem.  the other US resellers shouldn't have a problem either, but if UK shipping rates don't show up in the checkout procedure i'm sure contacting them would sort it out!

i'd say try fresh batteries for sure!  its not really an issue the backlight has drained them super quickly or anything.  but, consider that you just added some new electronics to your console, which will require power to work.  it might just be the backlight was enough to tip the batteries over their usefulness

if that doesn't work, post a picture of your soldering work!  thats the next best thing to try to sort out

have you tried putting in fresh batteries?

make a list!  prioritize, considering the time it take to complete each project, and just make out a list of goals and due dates for them, and get crunching

your problems are totally my own, its awful being unorganized.  and thats really the trick.  just get organized the best you can, set a list of priorities, and make adjustments if needed but otherwise just push through it.  you'll catch up in no time

also, caffeine.

1st of all, the moderator did warn me and I stopped after he warned me. He warned me by closing the thread so that was settled.

you didn't stop, you turned and opened up an identical thread within 5 minutes.  as per your previous warning in the other thread, you were banned for a week.

its pretty straightforward.  http://chipmusic.org/forums/post/200092/#p200092

a right wing conspiracy nut, closet racist, the list goes on....

he has a radio/web show and such.  think about all the crazy conspiracies in the tea party (the worst ones), bottle them up into a person, piss him off, and thats alex jones

there was a typo

since=seen

as in, i've seen a lot of 'whatever that problem is called' fixed by replacing the caps

wink

(as a sidenote, i swear OS X update has a spellchecker built into the whole OS now.  either that or my typing part of my brain is in serious trouble lately)
