ohhhhhhhh. yeah, i was thinking it was the loose frontlight kits they had just packaged with an LCD. a while ago there were some afterburners+LCD on there
nevermind!
i'd love to see pics of that, have a feeling alibaba doesn't get great wayback machine love
Willing to try this, the little scale teensy sync works really weird on me, (or I'm just missing something anyways).
For this proyect, what files exactly and how I upload the software to the teensy?
thanks in advance.
ah, glad you got the package! very cool, was starting to get worried
(if we were looking at the same stuff) they were the afterburner kits, they've been out of stock everywhere for a while now (couple years), they were NOS from a kit that came out when the non-lit model was available in stores, which wasn't a nintendo product. bung maybe? it was one of the companies which got sued and shut down
there was also the mash-mods kit, which i ended up buying the last of the stock before he dropped doing that stuff so i know those are all done with and gone (and that was years ago... i bet 2006). bought every single one he had left laying around, which wasn't but around 10 kits
oh, right on!
we're working together on another little somthin' too, so that works well
very cool! getting PCB mail is the best feeling
edit -- totally overlooked this, names, thats cool too! i think i missed that part in the details... regardless, nice touch.
Ahk, you should give an IR heater a go (if you haven't already), only about $250 or so for a reasonable one. They give very consistent heat and make using a Air or IR station far better.
IR would have been much cheaper, and possibly gotten the results I've needed,
but I'm getting into BGA work and some things which I need to be pretty precise with and IR tech just isn't there yet... at least from what i've read, perhaps its changed in the last while. last i looked they still used pretty crude temp probes either clipped or taped to the PCB
edit -- i realized i *might* have misunderstood you... but, to be thorough, i'm using air underneath and on top. air everywhere. pre-heat and the work itself.
i got my sample from them finally just now! i was curious about what it was too and wanted to see how it differed from mine, the post is spot on with their timing its weird sometimes
you'll see what they've done in place of the film (when you get your sample too).... i suppose its sort of novel, but it looks pretty fuzzy
and, like he said ^, a good light material and mine are good to go! if anyone has any thoughts on that....
likewise.
for what its worth, had samples made of these some years ago and the results were.... not satisfactory
sent some to thursday customs for some thoughts in case i was being hard on myself, and, well, there was a reason they were never produced...
(SNES) Secret of Mana
for real, liking this series a lot! what i've heard of it so far is great
i'm not sure if you can see the 'identity' section of your profile, and if its editable to you guys or not,
if you can find this section and its not editable, PM me real quick about it. and email change isn't a problem, glad you ask because staff mailings, alerts, and some other things I believe count on this email being correct
to infinity and beyond!
glad to see a thread for this here
too excellent, and also great stream the other night!
this is filthy
get in touch, we can accept other things besides paypal if needed
or trade? perhaps
ahaha... its sort of both.
i'm serious about the need to include them on a schematic which will be read by people of all sorts of different levels. i guess i've learned that its better to approach things as if the reader/viewer knows absolutely nothing about what you are talking about.
not to assume people are dumb, just that their knowledge base may not be the same.
but, its already been taken care of, i realized i simply needed to have two on there to show how its done and then everyone can do with it what they will. people to whom its the most obvious thing in the word can just see it, maybe someone who knows nothing can learn from something that simple
yeah, totally fine with me. i'm really looking forward to people taking it and adopting it to exactly what they'd like themselves
sounds perfect
