^ i've been toying with a usb breakout board (small/simple) for this since reading the thread earlier today, very much along those same lines.  this is such a good idea, i think, i know i'll do this to a couple/few.

awesome!

since you enjoy calculator programming,

why not use a calculator as your medium?

160 would get you a new cart, and a pretty nice modded DMG as well, you could spend much less on the DMG if you only wanted basic mods, no paint, etc

can't wait for that mac version to happen

it won't fit into the gameboy's edge connector if you do this, the PCB is way too thick for this along with the game shell as well

heart critical theory..... you're speaking my language... what a small world, was studying marcuse a little last night and looking for a good essay to read smile

(didn't go with marcuse though... Noonans' "Rights, needs, and the moral grounds of democratic society", had read it before and needed a mental shake-up again.  google it, its worth a read)

um, gonna listen to this, that was a nice term drop in your write-up.

I don't know about anyone else, but I would love to see a DMG clone in this form factor come to light someday.

^ those particular ones are rare as fu..

as is info on them hmm

the KF-2000 (the zig zag) and SY-3000B (same clone, different name) are the only clones i know of that can play gameboy carts.  and, again, super rare.  think in the ~$300 range for a good working model
