@Decktonic -- did they mention thrash at some point?  Turf War!!!  lol

actually now I'm not sure. Did I just imagine it? They said something about TREYFREY and Electric Children and I could have sworn the word "thrash" was in there. Oh well.

twenty-one o_O;;

wait please explain the album description.

yes

I think a label focused entirely on LSDJ dance and thrash is a great idea. Keep your focus narrow and people will look forward to your next release. You already have 3 strong entries in your catalog so that's good. And I really like Cooshinator's mockup.

Exactly. Doing this sort of thing live brings a level of intimacy to the show and fans get to feel a bit like they're up there with you. Also, gear heads get to see what you're using and that's always cool.

I dont think anyone wants to see what really goes down in the front row of a chipshow.

the front row is all photographers. the second row is gross.

Jake Allison and I collaborated with Nanoloop for iPhone and now you can listen to the result.

some thoughts:

- iNanoloop bass is so ill
- collaborating with iNanoloop is so easy, more people should do it, you just send the tracks back and forth with the mail app
- loading samples is a dream if you don't mind using iTunes
- if you read this far and haven't downloaded this yet, what is wrong with you

enjoy!

Ouch. If only they knew how expensive some setups can be.

yeah i would've brought up my $500 setup i use just to record and master and the $100 that went to getting just this gameboy modded and ready but i figured ignorance is bliss to the idiot that said that

considering the average wannabe electronic musician is running around with their mom's laptop and a pirated copy of FL studio. or if they are a DJ, a pirated copy of virtual DJ.

Let's play a game.

Count how many of the items in CDK's collection you own, and post the number here.

I'll go first.

Is it wrong that I like/make/listen to chipmusic because it reminds me of video games/ringtones/nostalgia/my favorite Gameboy and NES songs?

no.

I've been playing Mega Run on my iPhone. It reminds me of Sonic the Hedgehog.
