Hey everyone! I have recently released a new EP all mixed, mastered, and shiny. With this one I experimented a lot with different trackers (Fami, LSDJ, and some LMMS) and paired it with various other electronic sounds. I had a really great time creating this and I figured some of you on here might enjoy it.

This EP can be found here: http://janxattixxxlovesyou.bandcamp.com … with-teeth

and here: https://soundcloud.com/isabella-crossna … with-teeth

If you have any questions about anything I did in here please don't hesitate to ask!

Cheers!

Wow such diversity! Also sorry for remaking a thread that exists already. I couldn't find it haha.

Hey everyone!

I'm not sure if a thread already exists like this one but I was just wondering what everyone here does for a living? Do you live off your music or is it a side hobby to your everyday life? For example I love making music but irl I graduated this year with a major in geology. So currently i have no real job aside from a summer teaching job.

What about you?

I've showed my songs to my parents. They like my music and are supportive of my creativity. My little brother thinks it's boring and is very up front about that. He's not much of an electronic music person though. He likes rap.
Aside from that I haven't really shown many people because I'm kind of embarrassed and don't want to show people if it's not actually as good as I think it is. My friends sort of find out gradually and when they listen to my music they're like "Holy shit I didn't know you made stuff like this! This is awesome what program do you use?!"

I played one show and my parents and other family members were there. They love me and all of my bloops.

I like that analogy a lot chunter, hyping up the crowd can make an entire night. One of my personal favorite clips of Knife City right here, Luke is a MASTER at getting the crowd pumped http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9AsqqGho … re=related

Also that was brilliant.

When I performed my stuff I had my friend drumming and I was in charge of pretty much djing my melodies. I also had people dancing up on stage with me for some songs and that worked out pretty well!!! Only other thing I could've use were some background visuals, but there's always next time for that.

Connect two gameboys and mix them.
Or make an arduinoboy and mix it with some Ableton stuff.
You know? You don't need to only press play, make it harder in purpose so you can have a little bit of difficulty while performing.

How exactly do you make an arduino boy? That sounds awesome!!
