@ocean palace: Hey! I have to thank you good sir. My comment on your song seems broken for some resason, but yeah, really like it & it fits into my little idea pretty well. I don´t wanna ask for specific stuff, that was never my intention. I mean, if anyone got inspired & wouldl ike to create a nice tune, great. Otherwise i´m just looking for things already out there that would fit my little private non-commercial rpg project & i gonna check out your other stuff as soon as possible.

@Mrwimmer: So, did it work, or was it disturbing in some way? Did you use any (pixel) pawns?

@Jellica: Yes, doing that as well. I just thought it would be nice to share my silly little idea. For me it would only work if it all came togehter in the end: Chiptunes, Sprite Character / Monster Pawns, Sprite Floor Plans...
Just found "tropical dungeon boss theme song_By ocean palace" at the CM.O homepage. Fits really nicely.

It´s been quite a while since i last checked for nanoloop for iOS. Maybe i should look it up again.
@Grymmtymm: Hope it works out for you. If you can quote the error message, that might help solving the problem.

@Victory Road: It would just be nice to get links from people for their tunes, or tunes they might find fitting. That way i wouldn´t have to browse the archive for hours / days. I´ll do that as well, don´t get me wrong, but i might miss some nice stuff. Got some PMs as well, though i would prefer people to post in this thread. I might edit my original post to clarify things a bit.

@Sycamore Drive: Thanks. I like the styles, but it might be a bit too minmalistic for a real life at the table pen & paper game. I´m also not sure that what i´ve seen on the site would work with the pawn templates. I´ll try to contact "Oryx" and see if he could test this, or give me a sample to test this my own.
EDIT: Is anyone here registered @ the pixelgasm forum? Everytime i try to register i get an error message: "You have registered with a commonly identified spam email adress, please re-register from an allowed email address." I tried my "[email protected] & [email protected]" address.

@Sycamore Drive: I like it & there´s definetly some stuff i could use, thanks. To be blatantly(?) honest, i´m not sure i wanna throw (a lot of) money at this project at this stage right now. I´ve got a good "standard OST / fitting music" collection & tons of "standard fantasy" images to use for pawns. So i´m not financially committing to anything untill i know it´ll work & my gaming group is interested. I know this sounds cheap & you don´t have to believe me but i´ll keep your music in mind.

Re: Nanoloop on Android (16 replies, posted in Software & Plug-ins)
@Grymmtymm: All i know is, that on iOS there are apps that only work on the phone OR the tablet and that nanoloop is one of these (or those?). Don´t know why. Some still work on the tablet (and you might be able to resize them to fit the bigger screen) some don´t. Maybe it´s the same thing with android.

Hi. Is there a way to search for PHONE apps in the google play store? I ask because when i searched for nanoloop on my ipad i couldn´t find it untill i looked for both, ipad & iphone apps. On iOS nanoloop seems to be an iphone exclusive app. Maybe it´s the same on android & you just can´t download the app on a tablet.

Re: Humble Request For Pen & Paper Retro RPG Pixelart (4 replies, posted in Graphics, Artwork & Design)
@Zef: Indeed. I´m still trying to find a good programm to create some characters myself. I bought pixely for my ipad, but the graphics have been too small for the template so far. And i´m not sure how big i can make them with the app. A programm for PC with fixed tiles i just have to colour would be great.

@Zef: Thanks! Glad i´m not the only one who likes the idea. If you really create something original/specific i bow to you & make you a NPC
When it all works out i would definetly like to put together a RPG album & load it up somewhere for others to download.

So i had this idea. We´re revitalising our P&P RPG group and i thought about running an oldschool Sword & Wizardry (which is a D&D 1e "clone") campaing. There are lots of retro-style adventures out there & i bought a bunch for cheap. Then i started creating my own pawns for the game by using this tutorial: http://rpghacker.com/rpg-hobby-games/di
yle-pawns/ & the infinite amount of fantasy character related pictures on the internet.
BUT THEN i thought: "Wouldn´t it be awesome for this whole retro-style feel, if i had pixel art pawns & chiptunes for my DMDJ app as BGM?"
So, if you have any pixelart that would fit into a fantasy rpg & wouldn´t mind me using it please post a link here. A character or monster description (Fighter, Druid...Beholder, Kobold, Goblin...) would be highly appreciated as well. Note: The graphics should be quite large so that when i resize them, to fit the template from the link above, they still look sharp.
Thanks in advance!
PS: I´ll be posting a request for chiptunes in the "General Discussion" section as well.

Thanks in advance!

TO CLARIFY: I´m not asking anyone to work for me for free. But if you read this thread & posted some tunes here you might think could fit this idea please post a link. If the idea above got your creative juices flowing & you wanna post something you created for this specifically, awesome. And YES, links to your albums are welcomed as well, but i might not buy them right away.
And when you post something, please state if you´re ok with me putting your tunes in a collection, so that others might use them for their "Retro-Pixelated-PnP-RPGs". Obviously i wouldn´t put payed tunes in there.
So i hope this clarifies some things & that we might see / hear some great stuff soon.

Hello Chiptuners, greetings from ("good old") germany. Found this site through the "One-Life Left" podcast & listened to a lot of your great music since. So, thanks for all the nice tunes! Back when i heard about LSDJ for the first time i wasn´t able to get my hands on one. Is it still so hard to find? But i got myself some nanoloops a while back & some tracker apps for my ipad, which i play around with from time to time. I don´t really get it, but hey, it´s still fun.
