I'm getting the hang of it. It's a huge improvement over the DS series.

chipmusic is dead and for nerds anyway

pretty much the answer to all this.

@calmdownkidder sorry for butchering the sentence. Foreign language isn't my strong point. Maybe what I tried to say is that new events have (kind of) that blip fest fun (... I think this dosen't help either). My intention wasn't to insult or downplay blip. sorry for my grammar mistakes.

I think since 2012 the chipscene has gone on a generation shift where there are new big names in chiptune making some "splash". Most veterans have gone exploring other electronic music styles (or other generes altogether), and some awesome artists have disappeared/quit from the scene. Also It seems that since blip fest ended new big chip festivals have been very successful. But maybe you're right, the online communication has (maybe since I started following it) been more quiet than people that have more time in the scene claim to have since 8 bit collective (I joined/followed the chipscene when 8bitcollective was dying and wasn't aware of the drama that was happening at the time)

tl;dr maybe chipscene has been divided since 2012?

I had a flashback to my days where I could spend hours to oldschoolRPG's until they were done. I had the idea of making a soundtrack for an rpg with KorgM01d for a friend who is making a classic rpg for fun. with this I'm seiously considering getting the 3ds app soon.

That's amazing! I thought that the Spectrum would sound very primitive, but you managed to sound amazing here big_smile

Have you tried it with sid wizard?. If you did: Is it running nice and does it save projects on the cartridge?
