Have to say I'm leaning towards the Lebowski stuff - it would be very fitting for me personally
"S7" maybe?

Wow!
I think I made the post looking for some positive reinforcement of the Pulsar name and....well....that's not what I got LOL
Apart from Keff but then he's got a good reason for not changing it
Thanks for all the suggestions......I think....
I've become increasingly bothered by the amount of audio-releated stuff there is with the name "Pulsar". Most recently I discovered a little DIY, 8-bit (?) hardware synth which, while being hardware instead of software, feels a little too close for comfort. I'm probably being overly paranoid but...I'm now wondering whether I should change the name before I release it.
Any thoughts? Does it matter? If I should change it, has anyone got an alternative?
i like the ability to change notes with out re-trigger. would this work with the echo effect as well?
Absolutely
OK cool. That was my thinking too, just wanted to run it by you before changing it (again) LOL
Ah, I didn't realise that about LSDJ and the no-instrument-to-prevent-ADSR-triggering feature. My mistake. Pulsar does a similar thing but I use "tie notes" instead. Two ways of doing the same thing.
Question for you (all): Certain commands override Instrument parameters. For example, the Exx command will override the ADSR Envelope number that is specified in the current Instrument. However, this override only lasts for the note you place it on as the original Instrument parameters are restored at the next note.
I was thinking though, it might be better to make the override last until you next specify an Instrument (in Pulsar, unlike LSDJ, you do not need to specify an Instrument for every note as the last specified Instrument sticks until you want a new one).
Thoughts?
According to Catholics everywhere, Stephen Hawking is the devil's vegetable.
Ha ha, classic

Be a devil.
Nah, I don't think it's really fair. I'm sure he's a nice chap and it's not really my style to be openly criticising anyone. I'm a live-and-let-live kinda guy.
(He really fucking winds me up though, irrationally so.... )
Bit like how a friend of mine refers to celery as "the devil's vegetable" whereas I quite like it. Different strokes and all that...

See, this is why I've bitten my tongue all this time - I'm not sure my radar is functioning correctly.
I love y'all

I choose to interpret this as "I Sabrepulse"
Strangely I do.
Coincidentally, Sabrepulse is someone I follow on Twitter and this person used to be someone I followed but their constant inane drivel forced me to unfollow them. And I still follow Saskrotch so that's saying something
It's Neil Baldwin.

Does he like ice cream sundays and long walks on the beach?
Probably. By himself. Talking about himself. In the third person.
Which is one of the things that utterly winds me up about him/her/them. There's surely nothing more pretentious than speaking about yourself in the third person.
Mongoose was way lusty back then! In my town, if you had a Mongoose, you were the SHIT. I was a poor kid and only had a shitty Huffy back then. I loved it, though. Anyhow, I was watching Rad for the first time in like 20 years the other day and noticed that villain dude was the president of Mongoose. What a fucked up product placement? Anyhow, you can get Mongooses at fucking Wal Mart now so there goes all that street cred.
Oh I had my fair share of 'bargain' BMXs too. I'm not sure we had Huffy in the UK back 'in the day' but I had a couple of Raleigh's (probably same kind of quality as the Huffy's I suspect) but they pretty much fell to pieces. Mongoose was a quality bike back then. But yeah, they're a bit cheap and cheerful these days. Shame.
Couple of mates of mine who were racers back then had Robinson bikes. Now THEY were like 'kin Rolls Royces back in the day. So light and rock solid. They both had those flexi-rim (anyone remember what they were called - made of some space-age material that bent but they had proper spokes?) which were a bit bollocks.
