I wish I could take a picture of mine for you but I..... dont have them any more due to unforseen circumstances. They had blue and white EKG heard beats up the side with music notes all over the left leg big ones at the bottom and small ones at the top.

~~in terms of authenticity~~  vgmmm is "more authentic" for sure. you can play back songs you made in that on a real mega drive which you cant do with vopm. and it will force you to stay within mega drive limits. where as if you use vopm you can make songs with a billion channels and reverb.

but authenticity isnt the be all and end all of music so choose

well i think its pretty good. more powerful than the qy10 i imagine. theres also higher up models like the qy70 that you could look at. its an interesting interface to work with

i used a impulse response that i recorded with a friend in a disused warehouse. but not on chiptunes. i dont think reverb sounds great on chiptunes unless you make it a "feature"

ive got a qy10 ive had it since i was like 10 its kick ass

its got this drum sequencer bit which you can do your drum patterns on and chords and then you can arrange the patterns you made and put 4 tracks of arbitrary midi over the top (but the tracks are polyphonic so its not like chiptune). really cool id say go for it
