When I work the stick-shift wrong.

The CPU is the same as a normal one, just with the boot scene removed. So it should work normal.

Small tip. maybe you can resize your photo's a bit next time. 2.9 MB per photo is maybe a bit much, especially for people browsing the forums on mobile.

other than that, good work.

Wait wait whoa. What is this? Xyce and LSDJ?? When did this happen?

Never!
However, monodeer did a remix of xyce on lsdj.
Also, Cerror of xyce recently started using lsdj. So that's a thing as well smile

Hello dear people of the interwebs.

A friend of mine runs a show on a webradiostation. every now and then he asks new and interesting dj's to do a dj set of an hour with a interesting kind of style.

He asked me to do a chip show. But since I don't know anything about dj'ing and don't have enough of my own material to fill an hour, I asked friends for LSDJ save files... Scoured the internet... And made a DJ set with 2 Gameboys filled with lsdj saves and a mixer.

It'll be broadcast at :
http://www.inprogressradio.com/djs/Jean-Marc
Thursdaynight at 23:00. (that's in holland.)
so.. Thursday, 15 August 2013, 17:00:00 in New York.
Friday, 16 August 2013, 07:00:00 in Melbourne.
etc

I wanted to introduce people to chiptune, so it's a diverse mix, featuring sounds from Monodeer, Kodek, Nordloef, Zef, Abortifacient, C-trix, Xyce, and many others that where kind enough to lend me their .sav files smile

Having the lsdj files allowed me a new way to mix songs you couldn't do with mp3's. So I tried my best to make it as interesting as I could. (Still, I'm not a dj wink )

For people who will miss the show, it'll be on a mixcloud after that.

Bear in mind that lsdj is quite a heavy program to run, and backlights do add extra strain on your batteries, so some contrast/light reaction is normal.

It also depends sometimes on how the backlight was attached. There are various points to choose, and some respond more to power fluctuation then others.

Anyway, in short: yes, maybe, could be, could be not.

Also, I hear a lot of people talking about replacing the battery inside the EMS when the gameboy starts to act weird.

Now it could be just me, but isn't that battery not just for saving the ram? How does an empty save battery effect the rest of the gameboy?

Agh! You're probably right! But would taking the save battery out ruin/delete my LSDJ saves?

Yes, if you replace the battery, it will wipe the ram. So back up first before you do that. After that you can just re-upload the sav and all is peachy.

I do see a difference between my two EMS carts tho. With the older one the screen light/contrast seems to react more to lsdj then a new version, but it could also be a board revision.

With my drag 'n derp I get very little interference.
