I got a green one... because green.

You might have to relocate a condensator on some of the EMS cart versions.
And do some sanding yeah.

It can be done. I did it as well tongue

Most cpu's sound practically the same. There is definitely no speed difference.
Only CPU-1 has some troubles with the wave channel sometimes (i heard). But they are hard to find anyway.

There is no difference what soever in prosound plugs.. Jack, mini jack, RCA. Whatever you use on other machines basically. Makes it easier to combine.

Well, wasn't far of. It looks pretty much like a black MX-5 big_smile

Next question:
Is there a way to flash the super famicon/snes version of these cartridges?

Since I might know where to get one of these...

I should really get a better camera wink
The colour is more of a neon orange, and the backlight is teal.
Makes for a really cool combination tho.

Overheating could also be a short somewhere. Maybe a drop of solder or some residue fell on the pcb and shorted something out?
Or a piece of wire or something...

huzzah!

My guess is: not.
Unless there you get an iPhone emulator.

But that would just be silly.

I just use a drill. Start with 2 mm or so, then 4 and then 6 mm to fit in the female jack thing.
not really rocket science i guess.

midiout doesnt send clock sync. You need Lsdj master.

Tried master mode as well, prof.

Is there some setting in the 505 itself? I'm still fresh at roland DM's.

Ah, yes.
Make sure the midi sync is enabled on the 505.

Press SHIFT + TEMPO/MEAS MIDI
there you activate midi sync.

keep holding shift and press tempo for more options like channel etc. use up and down to change settings.

edit:
just saw the rest of the comments tongue

The 505 does start with lsdj start. At least, mine does.
for more troubleshooting: ftp://ftp.roland.co.uk/productsupport/TR-505/

there's the manual.

Ok, so I updated the arduino code and LSDJ is sending midi notes to my computer with no issues. But yesterday I tried to send midi sync to my TR-505, with no success. The 505 syncs to the computer without a problem, but not with the Game Boy.

LSDJ is in midiout mode, and it even has an instrument for sending midi data. Again, the computer accepts it, but 505 doesn't.

Is there any reason for that?

Did you set the right channel on the 505?
Do you want to sent note data or clock sync..

It worked fine with mine tho.

Yeah, somtimes it does that. Especially the blue colours. Nothing you can do really. Just put the contrast on a setting where it looks nice.

I quite like that Timbob character. He makes cool stuff.

Sometimes it can just be the can that sucks. Montana usually is great stuff, but I sometimes had a can with chunks in it...
