Thanks gwEm!
I'll try to make a cable tomorrow.
Shouldn't be that hard
Any tips on the resistors I should use?

F*ck yeah! Soundwave!
... that will be all.
Is there anything plugged into the joystick ports?
They can interfere with the keyboard sometimes.
Ah!
I'm on the mailing list!
It's like a secret club then....
Hello all.
I've got another Sync question This time it's about maxymiser, and it's Sync24 option.
Does anybody know where I can find the schematic for a sync24 output plug?
as featured in this video.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNo5y2OAli8
It was supposed to be on the maxymiser site.. But I can't find it anywhere...
Also: Can you easily split such a cable to sync 2 different machines?
It cannot send clock ticks and midi out.
Bugger...
No way to sync it then
Bump! Another question!
Does the midi-out function also send out a clock signal?
Because what 'm trying to do is sequence some machines with lsdj, but it would be awesome if my Atari could run in sync with it, and that one needs a clock signal...
So far it only looks like it sends start/stop signals and note data, but it fails to sync..

If I where to put glass on it, and keep it in a save place, nobody would see it
No I mean just lay a thick piece of glass over the top, unattached. Beer spills and just pours over the edge ;-)
But you made it so you do whatever you want with it! :-D It's freakin' awexome any way you slice it.
Ah, Like that..
well, the paint is pretty much water proof... nothing a wet cloth couldn't handle
Also: glass table + drunk people = glass inside drunk people...
I think I would have to top this table with a nice piece of GLASS to keep it from getting F'd up! Great job again! Sweet piece of work that you will always treasure.
Yeah, but the label changes with every Eindbaas edition, so that's ok.. It's just a print

One more night, and it's Eindbaas time.
Yes, I'm going to put stuff on the table. Its a merch table after all. We need to sell people some awesome Chiptunes!
Thanks again for all the comments
This could very well work, but be sure you use a link cable that connects all the wires.
I believe the normal standard black link cable has some connections missing (like the +5 pin)
thanks everybody! Glad you liked it!
also theres a cock on your table
Yeah, that's just Meneo... He does that sometimes
You know we you!
Me you too
I made something for eindbaas...
So, Eindbaas Asked me to make a merchandise table for their Eindbaas events.
And I gladly accepted... This is what I made:
First, I started with making a big flat plate of MDF. (Sorry for the crappy pics, didn't have a decent camera at the time...)
After that was done, I used a combination of CNC milling and some handywork to get most outlines in the plate
some sanding after...
Then I used a lasercutter to make some letters.
And after that, I made a label with the poster for Eindbaas 7
And now, there's a new Eindbaas coming up.
Read more about that here. So, of course, the table needs a new label
And this thread needs some higher quality pictures.
You can see a size comparison with an actual gameboy cart bottom left
On the label you can see Henry Homesweet, Meneo and $Kodek, pixelized by http://www.pietepiet.net/
(As you can see, the label isn't glued to the table as of yet. minor details. Also, ignore the messy room...)
So, there you have it. A fine looking merchandise table, if I say so myself. Got a lot of positive response at the last Eindbaas event. People loved it
I had a lot of fun making the table, and just wanted to show it to you here as well
Next time you're in holland, be sure to check if there's an Eindbaas event, and have a dance!
try this:
boolean alwaysUseDefaultSettings = true
Ah yes, I missed that little bit
Works like a charm.
Thanks!
