Stagediver uses a Blizzard 1230 for his Octamed SoundStudio setup. This allows for 64 tracks of audio (software mixed, not as bad as it sounds).

The secret is out.

Wait! Nevermind. I guess I have a faulty disk drive on the A500 and my cover-disk version of Octamed 4 is the only one that works.

Not user friendly indeed!

Not working for me either. I remember having issues with Octamed/A 500 a few years ago actually.

Tested on both hardware and emulation.

Was going to post this in the general section, but considering this is something of a "release" it makes sense here I guess.

Be VERY careful if replacing the caps. Heed Akira's warning. Many an Amiga have been ruined even further this way.

Do you have any other means to test the audio? I think I remember AHX giving me the same problems even though the Amiga was fine. I'll try it again later tonight.

Write everything down and sell the rights to a B-movie studio for bail money.

Erm, and no that was not directed toward any of the other releases (great or otherwise) in the releases section.

Just sayin'.

Thanks! This means a lot considering the amount of work put into what people may think is just a bunch of noise.

You know, if anyone on here *really* wants to help, it would help a great deal if people told a friend about it. We're not having trouble, it's doing better than the last, but it really seems as though our releases are largely ignored in favor of the same old bullshit. Whatever that means. Whoever that is.

To the rest: stick around if this electronic, lo-fi hardcore stuff isn't your thing. We've got more on the way.

Thanks again.

I figured he started writing in '94 but had been playing since '74.

DEATH TO ALL FALSE 8BIT.

+100 for Darkthrone.

Buttons are now gone, as are the white logo stickers included with the Raverblood E.P.

New distribution to announce soon.

So basically a micromusic.net compo?

That makes no sense. WHAT is wrong with SD?

Nothing at all. I simply meant compared to hard disk drives. People go on about the life span of HDs but I've gone through at least 7 drives via IDE using various models over the last 15 years. There was even a time when my back-ups were corrupt because the Amiga I was using had been writing "bad data". I'm not a believer. Perhaps *maybe* if it just sat on a shelf for 40 years..

Switched to CF via IDE as HD and CF via PCMCIA and haven't looked back. Also don't need to worry about someone bumping a table at a show/a certain someone throwing sharp objects around.

Um, how legal is this?

Like, Detroit S4 kind of legal?

Fingers crossed, guys. Fingers crossed.
