If you do lsdj carts, be sure to get the latest version with littleFM added, so you can transfer saves with a link cable.

Also, people should still pay for an lsdj license of course smile

Yeah if possible, will be latest and will require proof of purchase of course (but I'm serious about this one, unlike the retail carts) tongue

Mother 3 is a good gba option. Shantae is something I would never get hold of.

Good choice fellows. This manufacturer is purely for GB carts, so I will get hold of a few GBA manufacturers and this can be done.
Pricing to be advised though.

EDIT: Here's a quick mockup I did of the label in PS, what do you guys think?

Jazzmarazz wrote:

Are mask roms even produced anymore?

Indeed they are.

If it sounded like I was a complete asshole smoking crack that didn't know what I was talking about when I was making the posts, I apologize. I think the brake cleaner at work is getting to me.

Ahahaha! Don't sweat it man, I just thought you might've gotten a bad batch wink

Let's begin with a group purchase. Once Darko has all five peoples 7dollars, he can ship individually I'm sure.

Who wants an LSDj? I couldn't care less for it (can't wrote music) but I want to jump start this.

The second line describes me perfectly! haha I love playing with all this stuff, but I'm horrible creatively tongue

I'm thinking seeing as 98% of you are in the US, I can ship them over there to a trusted person as a single shipment then have them redistribute them over there, as individual shipping from Aus will be a killer for you guys I think.

This person will get a couple free carts for their efforts of course haha

No payments are to be made until the carts are made and in my hands! I hate having peoples money when I have nothing to supply tongue
You guys decide what you want, I'll make it. You pay, then I ship wink

Would it be possible to do a similar deal with GBA carts? or will this only be for GB/GBC carts?
Also, sounds intriguing wink I like where this is going.

Oh yeah easily, GBA carts are a piece of piss.

You're not the only one! big_smile

If the cart that is being made is flashable.

You can't just stick in any gameboy cart into a flasher and flash stuff into it.

That's not what he asked. He asked if you can read sav's with a cart flasher. Which is true. You can't write anything, but you should be able to read them just fine.

Of course you can read the ram from these cards, why couldn't you? haha!

Seems there is some good interest big_smile

Apeshit wrote:

I can see some potential in this. But there isn't any reason to require people to have the original cartridge to purchase these. If you're buying a bootleg, having the original cart neither makes it more ethical or more legal. The five piece MOQ makes this make even less sense because the people will probably sell the other four.

Also, nanoloop carts -- even though they probably can't be done -- shouldn't be considered for obvious reasons. Unless oliver is on board to have some made, but I'm pretty sure he has already made nanoloop carts through Chinese cartridge manufactures in the past and is now making them with his own design.

For those wondering about the whole "proof of owning an original before I make them" deal, please read this section of what I wrote very carefully.
"NINTENDO DOESN'T want you to pirate, if you CARE ABOUT them, don't do it. GAMEBOY PIRACY is bad but people don't care about devs ANYMORE." wink the answer lies in there. Some people also call me Jack Sparrow, I have no idea why wink

As for nanoloop it doesn't bother me what I'm flashing, but the owner must be cool with it. (except for retail games)

First little fm needs a re programmable IC and second SRAM is always reprogramable unless it's some really really proprietary cart. I doubt this to be an issue on any mbc-blah carts

Is the cart Darko offering flashable?

If not you're sav files will be lost once the battery dies, and you can only back up via MMC or transfer via LittleFM.

We won't find out until more info on the carts come out. Speaking too soon there buddy.

Well for one, even if they aren't programmable, they'll still be readable! So of course you can dump the ram or even the rom if you wanted!
The carts may be flashable! I'm working on getting some flashable or blank carts for you guys so we'll just wait and see smile

Any idea if these could provide save capability for nanovoice/nanosynth?

A couple copies of the gbc Pocket Music would nice.

I don't see why not, all we can do is try!

Pocket Music I can do no worries however wink

No but seriously. This sounds great!
Any idea about how the shell looks?

And for how long will this offer stand?

Shells will most likely be standard with my own marking or just standard clone grey shells.
The shells are of good quality, the moldings are perfect and the plastic seems only slightly different than the original, think similar to the best made multi-carts.

I may even open up the door for custom markings depending on what agreement I can come to with the manufacturer smile

The offer will stand as long as people want to buy them! No time frame here!

I would like to do individual cards, but it's just not possible, 5 minimum was a hell of a stretch.
I can / will however be open to doing some group buys if enough people are interested in the same carts!

Timbob wrote:

Hello,

One million lsdj carts please.

No problem, so the total comes to $7500000, you can pay via PayPal.

tongue

Both! As I wrote "I'm still trying to probe the manufacturer to find out how far they can go with the hardware side of things." wink

So I will see what they can do, but so far they have confirmed minimum MBC3 and maybe MBC5+Timer+Batt+2MB FLASH+32KB RAM
I'm sure you can guess which cart that is haha

Again, re-programability will be something I will have to check in the first batch. But I may be able to wangle some blank / re-writeable carts regardless smile

Ok guys! (and girls) (and whatever else...)

I have an absolutely amazing opportunity at the moment to re-manufacture/manufacture any, yes ANY GB/GBC game you wish onto a new cart.

The way I was going to do this is you send me your rom and label (same price with or without label) and place an order (5 pieces minimum per rom) at a cost of $7.50 AUD ($7.12 USD) a cart + Postage to wherever you are.

They then get manufactured and shipped to me (the manufacturer I'm using is paranoid and won't ship to anyone else) I then simply forward them to you!

Of course I will only manufacture games of which you can prove you own a copy of.
NINTENDO DOESN'T want you to pirate, if you CARE ABOUT them, don't do it. GAMEBOY PIRACY is bad but people don't care about devs ANYMORE. wink

This is just an EOI for the moment, as I am re-manufacturing a bunch of carts for myself and to check quality and durability before I start selling.

Could be good for nanoloop or lsdj, but I will have to get the first batch and find out.
I'm still trying to probe the manufacturer to find out how far they can go with the hardware side of things.

Post up / let me know if interested!

Of course carts are Chinese made and not original at all, if you have a problem with either of these two things, this ain't for you!

You guys have no idea the difficulties I went though to get this, so lets make the most of it haha! tongue

Oh um and also, I'm going to stop posting so much, sorry for all these posts! My name seems to be everywhere and I hate it >.>

Almost forgot to mention! My Mega's fiiiiiiinally arrived after freakin 6 weeks, so soldered one on a few nights ago and all is working beautifully! I'll post up some pics later!

Mine looks a little like "grab whatever was lying around at the time and put it together because your are so excited you might've wet yourself but don't have time to check"

But works great, very happy! Thanks a ton Jazz. big_smile

Well the amount of interest for all products has been more than enough for me!

Into the abyss we go!

Micro sd pls

Just wait for my laserdisc cart to drop

Oh man, how I've been waiting for a lazerdisc cart. wink

And katsumbhong, just kwaaaaaaaaa! I do know of it being used for LCD's as I've had to repair some tv's which use that to stick the flex ribbon to the edge of the lcd, but never for general circuits! I might have some lying around still, will have to have a play hehe!

Just BTW guys, what I'll most likely be doing is making a standard cart to pair with this, which will be a few weeks after this goes on sale if all goes to plan, then further down the track I will release the SD cart, reason being its not anything close to what I'd be happy to release atm, so will be a bit of a wait.

Though now that Kitch is on board (pun intended) things will most likely move a bit faster! As we will be able to compare ideas and problems.

kitsch wrote:

cart connectors are still being manufactured, btw, if you needed help in sourcing let me know although the MOQ isn't very low.  i could help split that, i need them as well

but, available for sure.  new parts.  not pulls.

This is true and thanks a heap for the offer Kitch!

For the moment however I've done a run which will keep me stocked for quite a while wink

We shall have some PM talks.

at first, it was stuck on loading... but after i found the right menu and dat file it worked.
please share with me how to boot ez flash 4 with nds files.

Nah if the codes under the stickers are legit then don't sweat it.

Turn on DS, wait for R4i menu, boot Slot 2, win? haha

But as for the white screen problem, I think the happy box version runs ttmenu (same as TT3DS) and the same problem happens on those too.

Sooo in that case, give this a go.

Taken from here: http://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-recov … rd.124715/

Download this https://rapidshare.com/desktop/download … 4A5A76A8C, it has a pack of recovery files for cards running ttmenu and also has a fake card detector, seeing as yours aren't bricked you will be able to run them to confirm the legitimacy.

Then just follow the instructions in the other link I provided smile

See how you go.
