Maybe, but not too dangerous ...mostly since you don't see other people much when in Detroit ...place is empty and falling apart

yeah i mean, detroit FEELS dangerous, but i've been there a lot, and haven't had anything terrible happen to me

Here's the lineup:

Baconhanger (Chicago, IL) [http://baconhanger.bandcamp.com/]

Baconhanger produces occult-themed breakcore.
Expect fast and heavy rhythms interwoven with nightmarish imagery.
You may require an exorcism after this.

Bubblegum Octopus (Verona, NJ) [http://soundcloud.com/bubblegum-octopus]

Bubblegum Octopus is a frantic, progressive hybrid of bouncy, cutesy pico-pico and synth-pop, grinding and noisey freakouts, 8 and 16-bit video game style electronics, touches of dance music, and IDM/breakcore style percussion mutilation.

CCDM (Chicago, IL) [https://www.facebook.com/pages/CCDM/119525414211]

CCDM is an electronic musician from Chicago who doesn't follow the conventional.
Analog synths, varying tempos and a touch of Baroque melody are all key ingredients to his style.
For UMAE6, CCDM will bring an all original Amigacore set, not meant for the timid or faint of heart.
You have been warned!

Crochetcatpause (Detroit, MI) [https://www.facebook.com/crochetcatpause]

Crochetcatpause is an electro janky junk punk act from metropolitan Detroit, MI.
Some people don’t like to get to close to them when they perform because their swagger is a little unconventional, but those who do usually have a good time.

Detroit Party Marching Band (Detroit, MI) [https://www.facebook.com/DetroitPartyMarchingBand]

The Detroit Party Marching Band is an ever-evolving collective of Detroit area musicians devoted to unanticipated revelry, driving jams, and the power of the un-amplified horn blast.
They believe the essence of music is celebration and joy.
They’re devoted to deploying impromptu jams to celebrate life and community in & around our dear city of Detroit.

Doctor Striker (Ann Arbor, MI) [http://www.doctorstriker.com/]

Paul Richter is Doctor Striker.
One man with a power suit.
His sound is "electro-rock synthetic heavy post-human progressive power pop."
"I play happy music!", he once stated in an interview with himself.

Ghoulie (Lansing, MI) [http://ghoulie.bandcamp.com/]

Ghoulie is one of the many projects of Lansing musician/producer Patrick Wenzel, who is also known for his analog/electro groups Public Pubes and Sex Ghost.
He performs an experimental set of grimy soul, noise, funk and rap.

KKrusty (Chicago, IL) [http://soundcloud.com/kkrusty]

Kkrusty (Mike Taylor) began making electronic music in 2004.
After experimenting with many styles, he discovered chiptune (music made using or emulating the sounds of outdated video game and computing hardware) and began composing songs on the Nintendo GameBoy in early 2008.
His music mixes sometimes sweet, sometimes epic melodies, pounding, danceable rhythms, (not to mention the occasional 80's hair-metal cover) and never fails to turn any room into a frothing mess of nuclear gleeful madness!

Nikola Whallon (Ann Arbor, MI) [http://www.nikolawhallon.com/]

In the year 199x, Nikola was born of two dragons into the age of the SNES. His love of SNES, N64, and Gameboy music would have such a great impact on the child's life that when he came of age, these feelings of love and nostalgia would fuse and give birth to music that has the power to bring out the child in anyone.
From classic video game music to modern pop, his Gameboy knows no bounds, and loves to party on the dance floor.

Saskrotch (Chicago, IL) [http://saskrotch.bandcamp.com/]

Musician, double label manager, and self proclaimed King of Chipbreak, Nigel Shields, AKA Saskrotch, is a lovely young man from the village of almost-Chicago.

Trabajabamos (Ann Arbor, MI) [https://www.facebook.com/Trabajabamos]

Trabajabamos is a well-crafted, humorous and undeniably entertaining rock-ish hybrid.
They'll make you want to quit your job and make a career of rocking out to their songs!

Watabou (Ann Arbor, MI) [http://soundcloud.com/watabou]

Watabou is the solo electronic project from the mind of multi-instrumentalist Travis Jarosz.
With his blend of intelligence and raw power, Watabou aims to evoke the emotions of any audience to the utmost, be it through intensive melodies, driving rhythms, powerful words, or any other number of qualities attributed to the act.

r4 cards are super cheap, i just got one bundled with a 2gb micro SD card for like 12 bucks from realhotstuff.com

also i dont think DS-10+ will be any different from DS-10 unless you have a DSi, which would need a different flash cart

If you absolutely need a detachable cord, maybe try something like these Shures.  An engineer buddy of mine has those, and he likes them a lot.

theyre even cheaper here http://www.amazon.com/Shure-SRH440-Prof … amp;sr=8-2

these are the ones i use, http://www.amazon.com/Shure-SRH840-Prof … amp;sr=8-1

they're more expensive, and i haven't used the 440s, but if these are 840s they have to be 400 better right
