From most people I talk to, it seems that everyone has/does/is learning to play bass... tongue haha
Playing bass well on the other hand.... wink

I actually have to record it straight from an emulator... hmm haha tongue
Fair enough, I play bass in a band too, but we've never recorded anything, so I know nothing about drums tongue But I shall learn!
Thanks, I plan too wink

Yeah okay, I don't really have anything available for post-production stuff, so it all just has to be done on the gameboy... tongue
But thank you for the feedback, I don't really know much about drumset, but I'll look into it! big_smile Thank you!

Not overly proud of the song structure in this one, but would still like some feedback on the sound design! tongue Tips, hints, observations, anything will be incredibly useful! Thanks! big_smile

If you look past the bickering, the community effort in this post is amazing to read.

I totally agree man. Best community support I've seen in a loooooong time. Shame about the bickering... tongue

Edit: forgot to type... hmm

Sorry for the double post, but... tongue
I went away and had played around with some sounds and made another track! big_smile I feel that the leads and bass could probably be a bit more interesting, but I experimented with commands a bit more. I had a look at some .sav files and got some ideas, I'm still a bit hesitant to use them because I don't want to over use them, if that makes sense... :S
Anyway, here is the track, it would be great if you could give it a listen and leave some thoughts/see if I'm on the right track. Thanks! big_smile

Would it be possible to do a similar deal with GBA carts? or will this only be for GB/GBC carts?
Also, sounds intriguing wink I like where this is going.

Thanks Dr. Jaffle! big_smile I wouldn't say that at all, but thank you regardless tongue
Hmmmm chairs... I see... *looks off into the distance thoughtfully*

Thank you very much defiantsystem, will do wink

I didn't think it was good enough to be scary tongue but thank you very much! big_smile

Alright, I'll see if I can find his stuff. Good to know there are other people around!

It's the place to be wink ahaha
Gentle Hurst?

Thank you Tom, I had a listen and it was very helpful! big_smile
Barbeque, it's not the waveform I was trying to get smooth, I was trying to get more of a smooth filter envelope, but I think I'll have to give up on it tongue
And Shintarou, great idea, I like it wink

Jellica, thank you very much! I'd tried with manual mode but I still get the clicking noise, but keeping it in time with percussion, brilliant idea wink thank you! And, yes, I am a noob, but not too noob-ish... smile
Bitjacker, I'm not a huge fan of modding my gameboy as I only have one... tongue I'd like to not go to extreme, but thank you nonetheless. tongue
Still open to any other ideas as well... wink
