Hey guys, I'm working on a track using Super Mario Brothers Deluxe, and I would like to record straight from my GBC instead of using an emulator. I am using an official cartridge, so I don't have a save file to transfer. When I used Audacity, it sounded very strange. Any suggestions?

This is in all honesty, the best chiptune track I have ever heard. I actually thought it ended well too! I love how much it changes throughout. I don't think you need to change anything!

Why is it called death.mp3 btw? At least let it be a .wav file (aka uncompressed)

Hey guys! I just finished a new track in PxTone and would like some feedback on it!

[Edit] The audio is ever so slightly buggy in the video, so any glitch noises should be disregarded.

Thank you so much! It was actually 200 BPM, then I exported it as a MIDI to use in another program, anyway the program is buggy so it messed up the BPM, it also doesn't support drums, so that's why they were seperate. Thanks again!

Honestly, I just cant get it to work. I lost the patch for my drum VST and those drums were hard to make hmm
Any other suggestions?

I tried in FL Studio and Audacity with not good results. If somebody could get these tracks at the same tempo for me, it would be greatly appreciated. It was my fault for making the drums separate like an idiot, and then having issues matching them. Anyway, if it's possible to keep the tempo of the music instead of the drums that would be even cooler. You'll also get a sneak peek at an upcoming song wink

Sounds good! There's a guy who might be a good rapper for it, and he may (if you're extremely lucky) do it for free. His name is Andrew Huang and he has incredible talent.

Just sayin'... there's way more to 80's music than just the stuff they play on "VH1's Most Awesomely Bad Songs of the 80's"

I realize, but for the most part I just don't like it. I like the songs I Wear My Sunglasses At Night, Broken Wings, and my fave song is actually Electric Avenue. But still most 80's just isn't for me.

I like every type of music (to an extent) so from fave to hate:

Alternative rock
All other types of rock
90's anything
Trance/Happy Hardcore (often one and the same)
Chip
Ska
Eurobeat
2000's anything
Drum and bass
All other electronic except dubstep and it's subgenres
Industrial
Other decades except 80's
Rap with real music
2010's pop
Christmas music
Folk & Blues
Dubstep
Rap without music
80's anything. I hate 80's.

If you can think of any genres I missed, lemme know and I'll add them where they'd go!

EDIT: Added genres

Honestly I don't care. They can throw as much variety at me as they want. I like to be surprised by music. It's nice for things to be related, but they don't have to be "same" to be related.

Basically what I meant.

I always enjoy variety in sound, but I like the style to stay within related genres (dubstep and dnb for example although i hate dubstep tongue)
